And the locals made a steady stream for take away pizza while we were there. Hubs had pizza which he loved, I had pasta and then the balsamic chicken, Very yummy. A bottle of wine, a bottle of water, 2 bruschetta, a pizza, a pasta and the chicken with greens was only 51,80€ plus we had a Fork discount of 6,30€ so it was only 45,50€ truly a bargain for a perfect meal. We have had many fantastic pizzas at La Pietra Scheggiata, but today the pizzas for me and Mia Moglie were optimum and superior. The absolute best Roman style pizza we have ever had. I am still hearing it (alla Bonci crunch), tasting it and savoring it 3 hours later. What an awesome treat!!!!
Fantastic. The pizza is so amazingly outstanding that I seldom get any of the other menu items. Recently, I forced myself to try something else. I can report that the pasta carbonara is also outstanding!!!!
