Beautiful restaurant in a location away from the crowds. Really varied menu with lots of seafood options. The Octopus starter was amazing. The shared meat and cheese platter was enormous! Lovely range of local wines at reasonable prices. And we even had room for dessert. Easily the best meal we had in Verona.

The restaurant is really fancy and a bit on the pricey side. The location was lovely and the service was great but it's not somewhere you will find traditional food. The dishes were clearly more on the upscale side and designed especially for an upscale resturant.
I came here for my niece’s birthday celebration dinner. We each had a pasta primi (Tagliatelle di Pasta Fresca al Tartufo Nero e Porcini and Tagliolini di Pasta Fresca al Nero di Seppia con Calamari e Bottarga di Tonno) which was delicious. The pasta was well cooked and the flavours delicately balanced. This was followed by a main course of Guancia di Manzo al Vino Amarone su crema di Patate (quite heavy but extremely tender) and the tartare with truffle (rich and delicious). We had ordered glasses of wine which arrived promptly. We shared a dessert of La nostra Sbrisolona con Crema pasticcera e Grappa di Amarone. The portions were generous and the food was all well cooked and presented. The slight disappointment was the service which was functional but not as warm as expected. No one really checked in on how our meal was going and apart from taking away our dishes and bringing the next one in, we had very little contact or conversation with the wait staff. The ambience in the restaurant was lovely. Tables were at a good distance apart so we were able to talk without feeling like people were listening in. All in all, it was a lovely place to have a meal and I’d recommend heading here if you’d like quality food in a nice setting.
We came early in the evening and therefore had full attention of service staff. Our plates were creative and of excellent quality. We had different wines by the glass. As a starter we all ordered parmigiana with a foam of parmigiano reggiano. My friends didn't know that dish and we all liked it. La Parmegiana is a common dish of aubergine , tomatoe sugo e Mozzarella, but it was held by crispy bacon and around that fantastic foam/cream. Or second dish was the fillet of pork slow cooked at low temperature and the turbot on a pure of celery (the round white one, not the green one which usually is used in Italy). I must admit that I don't remember if we had a dessert as I was very tired from walking around in Verona all day . The cheque was presented with the discount. Prices are a bit high but with the discount it was for us perfectly okay. I can't post pics from the location. We sat under the arches outside. It becomes a very nice atmosphere with the lights on the tables. Even in winter this must be a beautiful place inside. I liked that it is away from the cheap (but expensive) touristic places near the arena were you mostly are served convenient food or pizza. When coming back to Verona I will for sure go there again.
Food was really good, prices are fair... I think one of the waiters was in a bad mood and we could tell that during service, but in general was good.
