Fukumaru

The taiyaki shell was perfectly crisp, not soggy at all. Inside, the red bean paste was smooth and not too sweet. You can tell it's made fresh, one by one. The texture contrast is the whole point here.

They make each taiyaki fresh to order, so you do have to wait a few minutes. But you can really taste the quality ingredients, and it comes out warm. For the price, the portion is quite generous.

The strawberry milk shaved ice was just right, not too sweet. I'll be back to try the next seasonal flavor.
