Korakuso

Location is a major plus, right at the foot of Mount Kinka. The Japanese garden is very well kept. Having lunch overlooking it was quite peaceful. Good spot for a quiet business meeting.

The private room was nice, quiet and elegant. They even put up a small hanging scroll for our occasion, which was a thoughtful touch. The food was pretty good overall, though the pacing between courses felt a bit slow.

Grilled ayu was the reason I came. Perfectly cooked, just like you'd want. Came for a quick lunch, got in and out fast. Good for a quick bite during the sweetfish season.
