婉儿婉儿Marugo Tonkatsu is located at 1-8-14 Sotokanda 101-0021, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. I recommend this traditional Japanese restaurant in Akihabara. My husband and I both chose pork chops. The pork was very tender and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We also ordered a shrimp tempura, which was juicy and fresh. The price was very reasonable and the meal was delicious, worth the wait.

Akihabara is a geek paradise, a food desert, there is nothing else to eat except Marugo's fried pork cutlet. Tokyo's top fried pork cutlets can be divided into two categories. One is the academic school headed by (former) Narizo and Hinata, with advanced cooking concepts and amazingly non-greasy pork cutlets. The other is the common people's school headed by Marugo and Tonta, which is full of meat, appetite, and mouth-watering. Marugo uses Sangentoku from Yamagata Prefecture. According to the texture and fat, the meat is cut into thick triangles, and then slowly fried in a pan at low temperature. The fried dough is a very beautiful golden color, fluffy and crispy, with a strong aroma of sesame oil. The meat is lean meat, and the fat edges are almost cut off, but the meat texture is stronger than that of other restaurants, very thick and rich, and you can eat it in big mouthfuls, and you can feel the heroic feeling of swallowing mountains and rivers.
The fried pork cutlet is made from carefully selected premium Japanese pork. The price is comparable to that of steak. The thick-cut fried pork cutlet is delicious. I have eaten at this restaurant twice in Tokyo. It is delicious and great.
This restaurant is located in Akihabara Electric Street, and there is a long line before meal time. The pork is grilled with ginger, and the pork chop has a crispy coating when you bite it. The meat is thick, juicy and soft, and it tastes even better with shredded cabbage.
The shop is small, in an inconspicuous corner, and most of the people who make it are elderly people. But it is really crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It is really juicy when you take a bite. It is delicious. Girls can just order a small portion. The sauce must be used less, it is very salty and not delicious. The queue is pitiful. There is a queue on the roadside under the hot sun.
Marugo's deep-fried pork cutlet is really impressive. I think the fried pork is one thing, but it also has a lot to do with their pork. The meat is fresh and juicy, and there is no peculiar smell. The only thing is the fragrance.
