Came for the handmade bao, they really do sell out fast. The skin is just right, chewy but not doughy. The braised pork filling was rich, paired nicely with a cold beer. Got the last order!

I was looking for a healthier hawker option. The Johor laksa here really stood out. The broth is light, not too heavy. And I noticed they use fresh cockles, which is a nice touch. You can tell the ingredients are fresh.

The plum soda was a nice surprise. Really refreshing, not too sweet. Went perfectly with my quick lunch. A solid choice for a hot day.

Otak-Otak Cheng Boi(阿梅烏达) is located in Jalan Bentayan, Taman Sri Emas, Muar, Johor. The shop produces Otak-otak (fish cake made of ground fish mixed with spices and wrapped in leaf parcels),  which fresh and hot off from grilled, they also provides the frozen packed items (fish, prawn &amp; squid cake) for easy take away.
