The lunch pasta course was a solid deal. The soup had a clean, bright taste. Appetizer platter was huge, honestly too much for one person. Bread with cheese on the side was simple but good.

Stopped here between Rinnoji and Toshogu. The free sample was a nice touch, helped me pick. Got the matcha soft serve. The texture was spot on, creamy but not too heavy. A good little pick-me-up during the temple walk.

The omurice with demi-glace is great, but the real star is the pickled daikon on the side. So crunchy and good.
