The seating area is so relaxing. Comfy chairs, soft lighting, the whole vibe is just right. I only popped in for a quick drink, but I could have stayed for hours. Staff were friendly too.

The Pompei burger had a nice kick to it, and the cheese was spot on. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for it.

This place has such a nice, easygoing vibe. The staff are really friendly and the crowd is always a good mix. I've noticed the food has gotten a lot better lately, which is a bonus. Just a solid local spot.

Good range of craft beers, some interesting rotating options. Prices are a touch high, but you get what you pay for in terms of selection.

Great spot for a quick lunch. The special fried rice is tasty, but my second plate was a bit oily. Service is fast, got me in and out. Good for a speedy bite.

The afternoon tea spread was impressive, lots of savoury and sweet bits. Perfect for sharing. My only note is that the tea selection felt a bit basic compared to the food. A more interesting loose-leaf option would have been nice to pair with it all.

Solid spot for a quick lunch. The lamb curry had generous chunks of meat, and the sauce was rich. Portions are decent for the price. Service was efficient, got my order in and out within 45 minutes.

Popped in on a quiet Tuesday evening. The space has such a warm, cosy feel with those low-hanging lights and wooden tables. It's the kind of place you can just unwind. The Tawa was spot on, as usual.

They were great about my vegetarian request when I booked. The mushroom pasta was really well done, clearly made with care. It's nice when a kitchen pays that kind of attention.

Cosy spot with blankets on the chairs. Perfect for a relaxed coffee while watching the market buzz.

Nice spot for a quick lunch. Staff were friendly and got my order out fast. The house red was decent for the price. Just what I needed.

Found this cute spot right in the centre. Their lunch specials are so good – tried the Asian-inspired bowl today, the flavours were just spot on. Gets pretty busy though, had to grab a table outside.

Charcuterie board was a solid choice for a quick lunch. Good variety, came out fast. Just what I needed between meetings. Could use a bit more bread though.

The carvery here is a proper feast, especially on the days they do it. Massive portions for the price, which is perfect when you're out with a group and everyone wants to try a bit of everything. We left absolutely stuffed!

I have dietary needs, and they were so accommodating. The gluten-free pizza was delicious and arrived perfectly hot.

The samosas were a real treat. They had that homemade feel, really crispy and full of flavour. Just the right thing to enjoy in their cosy little corner by the window.

The staff were so patient with our large group and all our special requests. Really appreciated how they handled it.

Perfect for a quick lunch. Grabbed a sandwich and coffee. Service was fast and friendly, got me in and out in under 20 mins. Nice, quiet spot to reset during a busy day.

Lovely spot, feels like you're on holiday. The decor is nice and the food is always fresh. My grilled sea bass was cooked just right. A bit pricey for what it is, but you're paying for the setting I suppose.

This place is a solid Indian spot right off the high street. The chicken tikka masala was spot on, really flavourful and not too heavy. Prices are decent for the area. It was pretty busy for a Tuesday, but the vibe was good.

The spicy garlic chicken was spot on, really well done. Staff were friendly and gave good advice on what to order. A solid meal.

Been coming here for years, and Grant's service is always spot on. He remembered my kid's birthday from last time, which was a nice touch. The venison pepperoni pizza is my go-to - never had a bad one.

Managed to snag a last-minute table for a big group, which was a lifesaver! The staff were so on it, really attentive. Made the whole evening easy and fun for everyone.

The South Indian dishes are spot on. I asked for less spice and they got it right. Quick service too, perfect for a lunch break.

Felt like a little trip to Italy right here in Bedford. The ingredients are all imported, you can really taste it. The pasta was so simple but just spot on. A bit of a wait for a table, but worth it for that flavour.

The Himalayan salt candle was a lovely touch. I really appreciated the fresh, crisp vegetables in the curry, they made it feel so wholesome. Had to get a box for the rest, it was very generous!

Came for the carvery, which was decent. But honestly, the portion for the price felt a bit off. My plate wasn't exactly heaping. Friendly staff and the drinks are good, just wish there was a bit more on the plate.

Been coming here for years, and the mixed grill platter is the reason why. Always generous, always tasty. We liked it so much last night we got another one. That says it all, really.
