The Sunday roast was lovely, and the cauliflower cheese was a nice touch. The booths were really comfortable for a relaxed meal.

Been coming here for years, and it's the consistency that keeps me coming back. That historic building and the Tudor vibe never get old. The food's always solid - had the steak and ale pie again last week, and it was just as good as ever. A proper, reliable spot.

The prices are fair, which is nice when you don't feel like cooking. I just wish there were a few more healthy options on the menu.

Been a regular for ages. The real ales are spot on, always perfectly kept. Molly and Mollie are lovely, really make you feel welcome. That's what keeps me coming back.

The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the garlic bread had a nice crisp. Delivery arrived right on time.

The lady at the counter was so warm and friendly, it really put me at ease. The complimentary prawn crackers and samosa were a nice surprise too. A very welcoming start to the meal.

Been coming here for years. Their burgers are always spot on, and the chips are honestly the best around. Just a solid, no-fuss meal every time.

Staff were so on it. They let us try a few wines before we picked a bottle, which was a nice touch. The lamb was cooked just right, with that herb crust. Felt looked after without being hovered over.

Thai curry and the mac and cheese with pastrami are solid. Quick bite sorted.

We had a team dinner for about 50. What really stood out was the food. The salmon was so fresh, and the roasted vegetables were crisp and not at all oily. It felt like a proper, wholesome meal, which isn't always easy to find for a large group.

The paneer rice box extra hot with extra sauce is my go-to. The seating is surprisingly comfortable, even when it's busy.

The food here is always spot on. Saw a couple of dishes go past to other tables and they looked so good, I'm already thinking about what to order next time. Flavours are just right, never a letdown.

Been here a few times with big groups. The service always keeps the drinks and cheese coming, which is perfect for a celebration.

Burgers are cooked to order here, which is good. Got mine medium-rare, and it was a decent size with proper seasoning. My wife's chicken sandwich was solid, too. Service was efficient, no fuss.

Lovely spot, really nice vibe. The grilled meats were on point this time, definitely better than last visit. Just a bit pricey for what you get.

Been coming here for years. Rin and Maurice still take the time to walk you through the menu, just like they always have. That personal touch, it's why I keep coming back. Feels like visiting old friends.

Lovely spot for a warm afternoon. The outdoor seating is pleasant, and it's nice they're dog-friendly. The live music adds a decent vibe. Could do with a few more shaded tables, though.

The lamb biryani was really flavourful and the lamb was so tender. It arrived piping hot with delivery, which was great. The papadum was nice and crisp too. I do wish there were more fresh herbs or a side salad with it, just to balance the richness a bit.

Nice relaxed spot for a casual dinner. Portions are generous, which I appreciate. Prices are fair for what you get. The food was solid, though my main arrived just a touch cooler than I'd like. Still, a good, straightforward meal.

The cheese and onion fries were the highlight. Got a sample portion just for asking. Crispy outside, soft inside, with a sharp cheese sauce and sweet caramelised onions. The portion sizes here are generous for the price, but those fries are the thing to get.

Been here a few times. The chicken was a bit dry this time, which was a shame. Rest of the meal was good though. It's a solid Nando's, you know what you're getting.

Popped in for a midweek pint and a bite. The fish and chips were solid—crispy batter, proper chips. Service was friendly and quick, which is just what you want on a Tuesday. A reliable spot when you can't be bothered to cook.

The mixed grill was good, just what I fancied. They did warn me about the sweet potato fries being off the menu, which was fine. I really liked the booth seating by the window, felt quite cosy and private.

The restaurant has a 'buzz' and people looked happy. This is the second time I've been and the atmosphere has been great both times. There is nothing better than full tables to give you confidence you've chosen the right place to eat. The waiting staff were working very hard. They were all brilliant. They were polite, knowledgeable, very personable but also very professional. We were an eclectic bunch of friends and our tastes varied from fish and chips, through sea bass, vegetable curry to Aubergine Gratin. Everything was delicious, cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. We rounded the meal off with deserts - pavlova and fruit crumble - ten out of ten was one comment! All in all it was a brilliant occasion.

Lovely, chill spot for a relaxed Saturday. The halloumi burger with jalapeno slaw was spot on. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole afternoon feel very easy.

Came for the steak, portion was huge. Couldn't finish it all, took half home for lunch the next day. For the price, you're definitely getting your money's worth here.
