This restaurant offers a warm welcome and good food at reasonable prices, making it a great spot for families.

Menu&#39;s got some interesting bits, like the spiced apple scone. Went for the soup special and a sausage cheese panini. Both were solid, really hit the spot on a drizzly day. The panini was nicely toasted, cheese properly melted.

The fish and chips are definitely the thing to get. The batter was light and crispy, and the chips were fresh. You can tell they fry it fresh when you order. The whole place just has a nice, relaxed feel to it.

Loved the attention to detail in the cooking. The lamb dish was spot on, tender and full of flavour. A proper, thoughtful meal. Just a bit on the pricey side, but you can taste the effort.

Been coming here for years. Always spotless, which is a big deal these days. Saw them wiping down the card reader and the counter area a few times during my visit. Makes you feel a bit more at ease.
