Stayed here overnight, rooms were spotless and really comfy. The staff were so helpful - they even helped us with our luggage which was a nice touch.

The new owners are keeping the place spotless and cozy. I'm curious to see how fresh their Sunday roast ingredients are.

The new owners are lovely, really attentive. They keep a good rotation of guest ales, which is nice. It's a comfortable spot to settle in for a quiet drink.

The doughnuts are top-notch, but the seating area needs attention. Chairs and floor were quite sticky on my last visit. Still, their coffee selection is solid and pairs well with the classics. A quick wipe-down would make a difference.

Finally found proper Sicilian pizza outside of Italy. The dough was airy, and the flavours just worked together. A real find in Melton Mowbray.

Decent meal, good value. Ordered the steak and pasta, both were solid. Noticed the tables could use a wipe down, but it didn't ruin the visit. Service was prompt.
