Been coming here for a while now. The owner still remembers my usual order, that&rsquo;s something. Food&rsquo;s been consistent every time, which is honestly the main reason I keep coming back. Service is quick too, even when they&rsquo;re busy. Not the fanciest place, but it&rsquo;s reliable. That matters more to me these days.

We came here for a family thing and honestly the service was the highlight. Attentive without hovering, which I always appreciate. Food was solid too, especially the starters. Just felt a bit pricey for what you get, but for a celebration it worked fine. Wouldn&rsquo;t mind going back for a casual dinner though.

A livelyrestaurant in an old and characterful building and with a busy, friendly atmosphere. Excellent service, delicious uncomplicated food and wine and charming hosts, obviously very popular with locals, a real find.

The portions were really generous and the food tasted great. Only thing&mdash;the sauce was poured all over the plate. Would&#39;ve preferred it on the side, but still a solid meal.

The daily special got me &mdash; pesto pasta with Serrano ham, didn&rsquo;t expect that combo to work so well. Apple and rhubarb crumble after, proper finish. Place was quiet, staff friendly. Nothing fancy, just a solid lunch.
