The salty egg prawn was the standout. The sauce was thick and clung to the prawns, a good balance of savory and creamy. Could have used a bit more curry leaf fragrance though. The fish was decent, but the prawns won.

Ryan is so friendly, makes you feel right at home. The whole vibe of the place is just warm because of him. Really appreciate how he checks in without being overbearing.

Onion fries were the star. Never had anything like it. Perfectly seasoned, super crunchy. Couldn't stop eating them.

Tried the less spicy dry mala hotpot. It was really flavourful, cooked just right with a good kick. Reminded me of Korean-style mala. The spice level was perfect for me, not too overwhelming.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. The place is super bright and clean, which I liked. Ordered through the QR code on the table - easy and fast. Got my food in no time. Simple and efficient spot.

The mee rebus here tastes just like I remember from my childhood. That crispy crump on top is the best part, gives it a nice crunch. A solid bowl for a quick lunch.

The herbal roast duck and honey pork wantan mee combo is a solid deal. Good portions for the price.

Kaya toast was good. Thick slice of butter melted right into the kaya. Coffee strong, eggs runny. Classic breakfast spot.

Been coming here for years, and their steamed sliced fish is always fresh and tasty. A solid choice.

The traditional kuih here is pretty good. Not overly sweet, which I like. Tried a few different kinds, all decent. A nice spot for a quick bite.

The ketchup wanton mee is solid. Their house red wine is a surprisingly good match with the tangy sauce.

Been coming here for years, always after 10pm. The sugar cane juice from that stall next door is the real draw for me. It’s fresh, not too sweet, and just hits the spot every single time. That consistency keeps me coming back.

The laksa broth is rich and thick, with a good coconut aroma. Reminds me of curry mee, which I like.

Generous portions here, which is nice. The crispy chicken was pretty good, the skin was actually crispy. The homemade tofu was fine, a bit plain for my taste. Menu has a lot to choose from.

Came for breakfast and the live music from the buskers was such a nice surprise. It was just a guy with a guitar playing softly, really made the morning feel relaxed. A different kind of vibe for sure.

Parking's a bit of a hassle during peak hours, but there's plenty of seating inside. The food's good if you're around Kulai.
