Stumbled upon this spot at 2am after a long night. The braised tofu side dish was the real winner for me – so flavourful and soft. A solid bowl of noodles to end the day. 🍜

Stopped by for lunch, the soup was really good. Fresh ingredients, felt like a home-cooked meal. Comfortable spot for a casual bite.

The hotplate bean curd here is fantastic. It's got this great sizzle and texture that honestly beats a lot of meat dishes. Everyone at our table kept going back for more.

A bit of a drive, but the mushroom-focused dishes were worth it. Their wine list had some nice pairings for the earthy flavors.

The ginseng roast duck was my first try here. The sauce is on the sweeter side, but the duck itself was really tender. A nice find!

Been coming here for years. Their kolo mee still has that same smoky wok hei taste I love. It’s the main reason I keep coming back. The fried mani cai is decent too, but I'm here for the noodles.

The banchan spread is generous and they refill it without you asking. Really liked the kimchi, it tasted fresh.

Stumbled upon this place in Komtar JBCC. The mini tempura don and udon combo was just right for a light lunch. Came back the next day for their Christmas set with a friend. Honestly, the price point felt pretty decent, especially when you think about what you'd pay across the causeway.

Herbal BKT soup is well-balanced, not overpowering. The pork ribs were fresh. Added enoki mushrooms as an extra, which was a good choice. Simple, straightforward meal. Service was efficient.

Convenient spot just a short walk from the JB customs via the R&F bridge. Came for an early lunch after crossing over. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the whole visit feel relaxed and easy. A comfortable place for a quick, hassle-free meal.

best roti canai. kosong is fluffy and crispy. curry is delicious. worth the calories.

The grilled saba set was pretty good, nice authentic flavour. The place is comfortable for a casual dinner.

Parking's okay if you get there early. Came for a quick lunch, got the chicken rice. Food came out fast, just what I needed. Place got packed right after I sat down though. Good for a fast bite.

The chilli crab pasta here is a must-try. The sauce had this rich, sweet-and-sour kick that was just right, and the soft shell crab was perfectly crispy. Felt like a real treat. The staff did seem a bit swamped behind the counter, so service was a little slow. Still, a solid find in Mount Austin.

Cozy spot, loved the vibe. My latte was smooth, and the avocado toast hit the spot. Saw a few families with little ones, they seemed comfy too. A solid neighborhood find for a relaxed bite.

Nyonya food here is legit. Came for a quick lunch, got the curry chicken. Flavor was spot on, portion just right for a solo meal. Service was quick, in and out in 30 mins. Perfect for a workday break.

Service was fast. Roti john and roti jala with curry were good. The nasi ayam sauce was unique. Got my food quickly, perfect for a quick dinner.

Great spot for hi-tea with friends. Food was satisfying, and the view from level 9 is a nice touch. No queues, so it's relaxed.

The weekday cocktail deal is a nice touch. I ended up trying a couple I wouldn't normally order. The vibe in here is really chill, perfect for just winding down after work. The lighting is soft and the seats are comfy, you can easily lose track of time.

The sharing platter was nice, you can pick what you want. The sides were a good touch.

Decent lunch buffet. Lots of international options, which was nice. The price was fair for what you get. Staff were really friendly, kept checking on us. Couldn't ask for more on a random Tuesday.

Had their uttapam and dosa. The flavours are spot on for South Indian vegetarian. My glass of house red was a surprisingly good match with the spices, cut right through the richness. A solid choice for a simple, satisfying meal.

The service was really attentive and friendly. They noticed our water glasses were empty and refilled them quickly without us asking. Made the whole meal feel relaxed.

A nice change from the usual chicken rice places. The laksa was really good, packed with lots of different things in the bowl. The homemade barley drink was a refreshing choice. I also liked their kampung egg tarts.
