Komurasaki Ramen is a real old brand in Kumamoto, Japan, and is the original flavor of Kumamoto Ramen. I found this place according to the navigation at noon, and there was already a long queue. The store is not very big, but the diners eat very quickly, so it doesn’t take long to queue up. The pork bone soup is so comfortable to have a bowl of hot ramen on a cold day.

When I was in Mermaid Island before, I met two Taiwanese people. When we talked about my upcoming visit to Kumamoto, they strongly recommended that I must come and eat horse meat. . . . When I first heard about it, I refused, but I thought, since I came so far, I must try it. So Xiaoyu took me to this yokobachi where you can drink and eat horse meat. Many izakayas in Japan are very interesting. They will stipulate that you can drink as much as you want within 2 hours if the average consumption per person is about 100-400 RMB! ! ! That is to say, you can drink as much as you want. . . . . This is really good news for people like me who love wine! Horse meat is a local delicacy in Kumamoto. It is said that it originated from the soldiers in the Warring States Period who slaughtered horse meat to fill their stomachs. It has a long history. It is often marked as "Sakura" on the menu because the sliced horse meat will turn into a pink cherry color soon after it comes into contact with the air. The horse meat in Kumamoto is just like Japanese sashimi. It can be eaten raw, made into sushi, fried, or made into tempura. The best part is the spine of the horse meat. When the horse meat sashimi is served, remember to eat the sashimi first. It tastes better when it is fresh. And I heard that all the edible horse meat in Japan is now concentrated in Kumamoto.

Yamatake, the wild cuisine of Kurokawa Onsen ♨If you are a little hungry after staying at Kurokawa Onsen Hotel and taking a bath in the town, I recommend a nearby restaurant. 🥔Yamatake specializes in natural potato cuisine. Natural potato means yam in Japanese. The owner grows yam himself, and the miso and rice in the restaurant are also produced by himself. 🖼Environment: A spacious tatami room where you need to take off your shoes to enter, and a wooden traditional Japanese folk house. Everyone sits around the charcoal grill~ 💰Looking at the menu, there are single dishes and set meals, with prices ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 yen. I ordered a set meal. Sitting in the ground stove, grilling meat and fish with charcoal, and tasting simple local cuisine is like living in a farmhouse, which is particularly interesting. 💫If you are still not satisfied after the meal, there is a milk specialty store opposite the restaurant. The delicious milk and milk ice cream come from the ranch opened by the owner's second son. You can try it~ 🚉Address: Aso-gun Minamioguni-cho, Oazi Manganji Kurokawa 6994 🚞Transportation: From Kumamoto Station: Take the Kyushu Cross-Island Bus for about three hours and get off at Kurokawa Onsen Station. From Hakata Station: Take the express bus for about two hours and forty-five minutes and get off at Kurokawa Onsen Station. This bus also stops at Fukuoka Airport.

I was traveling around Kyushu and Japan by car. When I passed through Nanguan in Kumamoto Prefecture, it was lunch time. I looked for traditional folk cuisine on Google Maps and found a "Higo no Chaya" (tofu cuisine)! Friendly reminder: ① Closed for lunch and dinner on Wednesdays, closed for dinner on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays ② Free parking! #MyTravelWish #JapaneseFood #TravelJapanwithoutLeavingHome #IamTraveler #TryTheAuthenticOldBrand

This store is very interesting because it is a Chinese store. It is really familiar to see Sanlitun. I told my friend that I must take a photo of it. I found it on the way to Shuiqian Temple Fun Garden. It is a Chinese mainland canteen. The promotional board is also very interesting.

Kyushu is the third largest island in Japan, with a mild climate and pleasant scenery. It has rich food and is one of my favorite areas. I have been there three times and checked in all 7 counties. Compared with the "crowds" in Kanto, Kansai, and Hokkaido, Kyushu seems to be more niche and leisurely, and there are many European and American tourists. If you are tired of the crowded and fast-paced special forces-style tourism in popular tourist destinations, you might consider the slow-paced Kyushu. Pick a few cities you are interested in and take a relaxing Citywalk. Or enjoy a leisurely holiday with a shopping + hot spring + food package. - ❶ Fukuoka As the gateway to Kyushu, Fukuoka City is one of the few cities with subways, with convenient transportation. Hakata ramen, mentaiko, pig intestine hot pot... It is simply unreasonable to come to Fukuoka without eating and drinking. If you like to see the sea, I highly recommend taking a bus to [Itoshima] Swing on the palm swing on the beach, watch the torii gates and the ebb and flow of the tide. The "Path of Light" at the Miyajidake Shrine in Fukutsu City is also a beautiful sight not to be missed. - ❷ Kumamoto Kumamoto is my favorite city in Kyushu. The majestic Kumamoto Castle is seamlessly connected to the bustling shopping streets. You can occasionally run into the cute Kumamon Bear on the street. The most shocking thing was seeing the smoking volcano up close for the first time at Aso Volcano. Finally, we went straight to Kurokawa Onsen and felt at ease in the quiet valley. - ❸ Kagoshima The surprises in Kagoshima exceeded expectations. Walk and eat in the bustling city, and then climb the Shiroyama Observatory to see the majestic appearance of Sakurajima. If the weather is good, it is also recommended to take a boat to Yakushima for hiking to see the century-old cedar trees and the inspiration for Princess Mononoke. Don't forget the black pork cuisine and the specialty Karukan! - ❹Nagasaki Compared to several other big cities, Nagasaki will give people an illusion of "time standing still" The streets and alleys built on the mountain have accumulated stories of the years and are very much like the world of animation And [Chinatown], [Catholic Church] and [Glover Garden] have witnessed the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures The beautiful night view of [Inasa Mountain] and the dreamy [Huis Ten Bosch] are also unforgettable - ❺Oita Kyushu's hot spring town The famous [Beppu] and [Yufu The temple is located here. The Beppu Hell Tour is very interesting. Friends who like hot springs should not miss it. - ❻ Saga & Miyazaki Compared with other prefectures, Saga and Miyazaki are relatively unpopular and the transportation is not well developed. But the scenery is pure and there are few tourists. Saga's [Oo Shrine] and [Takezaki Coast] are quiet and healing. Miyazaki's [Aoshima Shrine], [Demon Washboard], and [Nichinan Coast] are all charming. It is more suitable for friends who like niche routes and love self-driving. - #小众发现社 #日本自由行 #日本九州 #月度專科计划

February and March every year is the season for eating purple sea urchins. In July this year, in order to eat the rare and precious "red sea urchin", I searched online for local fish restaurants that serve "red sea urchin". Fortunately, I finally ate the exquisite "red sea urchin", which melted in my mouth and was super delicious!
