The chili oil version has a nice kick without being too spicy. It blends well with the pork bone broth.

The Musashi Udon set is my go-to. That rich soy broth with shiitake and mochi is always so comforting.

Found this spot while exploring Kumamoto. The sushi and soba were really fresh. Price was a bit higher than I expected, but the portion for the sushi set was decent. You get what you pay for, I guess.

The tatami room was so peaceful, with the scent of old wood. Just sitting there felt like a quiet moment away from everything. The waiting area had a lovely little bench too, which was a thoughtful touch.

Tried the Angus beef curry set for lunch. The meat was cooked just right, not tough at all. The corn soup was a nice, warm start. Good portion for the price.

Came here for a late bite. The ramen was solid, hit the spot. They had a decent sake selection for the hour, which was a nice surprise. A bit on the pricey side for a midnight bowl, but it's open when you need it.

I love the counter seats here! Watching the chefs work in the open kitchen is so fun. The vibe is really stylish and lively, perfect for catching up with friends over drinks.

The yakiniku set was nice, grilled beef with rice and miso soup. What I really liked was the space though. The tables are spaced far apart, feels very private. Not cramped at all, which is rare in Tokyo.

The cream puffs are a real find. The filling is so light and not too sweet, which I loved. The shell was perfectly crisp. Tried the milk gelato too—super smooth and refreshing.

The terrace view is lovely, and the river sounds are so calming. It feels like a quiet English garden. Just a perfect spot to unwind over a meal. The background music was a nice touch too.

English menu was a lifesaver for our group! 😅 We all got the set lunch and a beer, came out to about 2200 yen each. The only thing is, the smoking section's smell drifts a bit into the main area. Still, a solid spot for a casual catch-up.

The pretzel bread is so good, I ended up buying a loaf to go. It's chewy and has that nice salty crust. Really fits the whole vibe of the place.

Good selection of cakes, both fruit and cream types. Makes it easy to pick something.

The sirloin lunch was so tender, just melted. Sat by the window with the afternoon light coming in, it was a really nice, relaxed vibe for a weekday.
