The counter seating is so comfortable, and you can watch them prepare everything. The tomato jelly was really refreshing, and the asparagus tempura was light and crispy. A very pleasant, easy meal.

The manager's wine recommendation was spot-on for a quiet Tuesday dinner. Really made the evening.

The tempura omakase here is so delicate. Each course felt like a tiny, perfect bite. The shrimp was my favorite, with that light, crispy batter. A real treat!

Came back after a long while. The grilled oysters were so fresh, you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Paired them with a light beer. The hostess was friendly to chat with. A nice, simple meal.

Love the tatami seating and the retro vibe. The hotplate at each table keeps the okonomiyaki warm the whole time you're eating.

The soy broth here is clean and not too heavy. Had the ramen for lunch, left a nice aftertaste without that greasy feeling. Just what I wanted.

The set menu is a solid deal for what you get. Had the grilled fish set, and the portion was generous. Paired it with a crisp white wine from their list, which really complemented the dish. Prices here feel fair.

The hamburger steak is thick and the demi-glace sauce is rich. The portion is generous for the price. I was full for hours after.

Tried the Hiroshima-style soupless tantanmen. The thin noodles were firm and chewy, coated in this rich chili and sesame sauce. Mixed it 30 times like they said, really brought out the umami from the meat. Solid bowl.

The Sichuan peppercorns here are the real deal. That authentic numbing sensation cuts through the heat perfectly. It's exactly what you want from a good mapo tofu.

The vegetarian course was thoughtful. They really worked with the restrictions and made something nice.

The sashimi was very fresh, and the sake pairing was a nice touch. A solid choice for a quiet dinner. The only thing was the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Good selection of drinks beyond beer. The bourbon highball paired nicely with the grilled chicken.

The grilled crab was fresh and tasty. The salmon pasta was a good match with a beer. A quiet spot for a relaxed dinner.

Stopped by near the station. The daily sashimi selection was explained so nicely when it arrived. The conger eel sashimi was new for me, and the oysters were incredibly fresh. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. A very pleasant lunch focusing on freshness.

The omakase was a real treat. Chef's selection of nigiri kept coming, each piece so fresh. The uni and otoro were standouts. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. A solid find in this neighborhood.

The English menu on the iPad made ordering efficient. The red gyoza had a nice kick, and the crisps were a solid side. The flavor-shaking bag was a practical idea. Service was prompt for a busy lunch.

I stopped in for a light snack and was impressed by the tapas menu. The ambiance on the terrace is great for a casual drink, making it a perfect spot to unwind.

Ordered the conger eel rice to-go. They made it fresh after I ordered, which was nice. The eel was cooked perfectly and the flavor was spot on. Portion size was just right for a quick lunch with a friend.

The Hakata-style motsunabe here is the real deal. Rich, savory broth with super tender offal. The mini dumplings were cute and tasty, but that hot pot is the star. Found some nice local sours to go with it, too.

Nice terrace for people-watching. The food was decent, but the portion size felt a bit small for the price.

The wagyu paitan salt ramen was nice. Broth was surprisingly light, I finished it all. The beef just melts away in the hot soup. The space itself felt really calm and open, which I liked.

I had an amazing time enjoying lamb ragu pasta and foie gras with tomato jam; both dishes were absolutely delicious!

If you're looking for a place with a nice ambiance and delicious food, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
