TheForkUserWe have eaten Indian style cuisine all over the world. We have to say the menu at Made in India surpasses all we have had. Those seeking vegetarian food will not be disappointed either. Excellently prepared curries from fresh ingredients, wide and varied menu, exceptional value and very friendly and informative staff. Our first meal there on this first holiday to Albufeira , but most certainly not our last. Fantastic.
TheForkUserSuper food and service- loved the Portuguese Steak!
TheForkUserAladino had no record of our reservation. That’s on you. Thankfully I had printed out our reservation. Won’t use you again. It was very embarrassing to have my husband get up during the meal to pay.
TheForkUserBeautiful restaurant, excellent food and a lovely setting. The hosts were really welcoming and interacted and were really eager to please. They are working hard to establish an alternative choice to Alcantarilha and having tried all the other local establishments would definitely recommend giving it a try. Dean and Gwen Hill.
TheForkUserFantastic authentic food. We were a party of 4 and thoroughly enjoyed the tastiest starters and curries, best we have ever had.
TheForkUserO Rei de Espeta serves tasty BBQ skewers Brazilian style. The service was fantastic and Graziella was a very friendly and welcoming host. There is a large selection of tasty skewers and side dishes to choose from. We especially enjoyed the BBQ sausages (salsichas), chicken skewers and the pork sirloin. Also the feijoa preto, a Brazilian side dish was superbly prepared by the cheerful ‘chefa de cozinha’. The feijoa was well seasoned, filled with bacon and chorizo chunks and slow cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed our dinner at O Rei and would definitely recommend giving this Brazilian BBQ a try, you won’t be disappointed.
TheForkUserOne of the best sites in the world for a restaurant. Looking over a beautiful beach with crashing waves. Delicious garlic prawns, main salad and burger. Fresh fish cooked to order if you want it.
TheForkUserAmazing experience! All food was perfect! Portion sizes are great. The level of spiciness shown on the menu was exactly as expected. The staff is friendly and professional. Would recommend to anyone!!
TheForkUserBeautifully located near the museum and the charming harbor, Faina offers a spacious and quiet setting perfect for a relaxed lunch. The calm ambiance is enhanced by tasteful Portuguese music playing in the background, contributing to the restaurant’s warm and inviting atmosphere. The lunch menu is both appealing and original, featuring traditional Portuguese dishes with a creative, contemporary twist. Each plate feels thoughtfully “revisited”—respecting the roots of the cuisine while adding a fresh and modern flair.Service is friendly, efficient, and attentive without being intrusive. The interior is stylish and comfortable, combining modern design with a welcoming feel.Faina is a delightful choice for anyone looking to enjoy Portuguese flavors in a refined yet relaxed setting.
TheForkUserThis place is local and right around the corner from the beach. Super casual outdoor dining. There was only 1 person working. We came as a party of 7 and I was worried when I saw it was only him but…it actually was great! The gentleman was so nice, provided great service, and the food was good. We embraced the culture of not rushing and enjoyed this dining experience very much. I am so excited to have tried the Francesinha! A couple things to note: 1- it gets noisy later with the bar next door, but there was a big open space and kids enjoyed dancing around outside. 2- only took cash when we were there so make sure you have cash just in case.
TheForkUserAmazing service!! Very friendly. The food was delicious! Very authentic Portuguese food, and they also have a kids menu. The decor was beautiful and even had a fish tank that my kids enjoyed to see.
TheForkUserWe were on a family holiday. The food and service was fantastic. My son made a booking for 2 nights later and we had the same experience.I would definitely come back to this restaurant when in Albufeira again
TheForkUserREAD THIS REVIEW. I have not read any other reviews which mention that this is an intimate, one table only dining experience which is magical, earnest and heartfelt. The dishes change daily depending on what organic, locally sourced produce is available that day. João (the person running the ENTIRE place) was so attentive, sensitive and passionate. He made and introduced every single dish which was incredibly sentimental. The entire concept is so well thought out. The dishes, illustrations on the wall, wooden spoons are all considered and from the Algarve. As someone who constantly seeks interesting and exciting food - I have been more than satiated, I’ve had my f*cking socks blown off. Absolutely astounding. So much appreciation for the infinitely talented Joao 🙏🏽
TheForkUserNot the place for a romantic dinner but the Sushi is good and the service is friendly. With the discount of the fork we got a good lunch for a good price. We will come again.
