The shave ice is fantastic, and the texture held up well. I was able to enjoy it slowly, which was perfect for my iced sake.

The hand rolls were a treat, especially the spicy tuna with macadamia nuts. That combo was unique. But what really stood out was the space itself – high ceilings and warm wood tones made it feel so open and relaxed, even when it was busy. Just a really nice spot to unwind.

Been coming here for years for breakfast. That loco moco is always solid, packed with flavor. The veggie omelet is my go-to, probably the best in the area. Nice to sit outside under the tree, though it can get a little busy on weekends.

The chocolate ice cream is the star. It's rich, not too sweet, with a deep cocoa flavor that lingers. The vanilla is good, but the chocolate is on another level. I just wish they'd offer a double scoop of it alone.

The honey walnut shrimp was a standout—crispy and creamy. The whole place just has a really nice, relaxed vibe.

The fish tacos and mochiko chicken bowl were really good. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger for the price.

The Loco Moco bowl. The plant-based patty had a really good texture, not mushy at all. The pickled jalapeños cut through the richness perfectly. A solid, flavorful take on the classic.

The Upcountry Burger is the real deal. Brioche bun was soft, patty cooked just right, and the toppings were super fresh. Sweet potato fries were a nice change, crispy outside. One of the better burgers around.

Sushi is fresh, rice is on point. Small space, limited seating.

Our server was super helpful with portion sizes. We were thinking about ordering a third pasta, but she said two would be plenty for three people. She was right, we even had a little left over. Really appreciated that honest advice.

The crab cake eggs benedict on cheddar jalapeño cornbread was really good. I liked the thoughtful flavor combo. The space itself has a nice, relaxed vibe—lots of natural light and comfy seating.

Coconut shrimp happy hour special was solid. Good crunch, sauce had a nice kick.

The burger was really good, and I loved seeing them bring in fresh basil from the garden. You can tell they make everything from scratch.

The spice levels are legit. You can customize from mild to authentically Thai spicy, and they get it just right. I got the green curry at their medium level and it was a perfect, fiery kick without being overwhelming.

Solid local-run luau. Intimate vibe, not huge like the resorts. All-you-can-eat and drinks included, good value. The fire dancer at the end? Spectacular.

The staff here is so warm and friendly. They remembered my name from the reservation and checked in just the right amount. It really did make me feel at home, which is a nice touch you don't always get.

The sampler pack is a smart idea. Got to try the snickerdoodle and double chocolate without buying a whole dozen. Cookies were fresh, but the portion in the sampler felt a bit small for the price. Still, it let me pick a favorite before committing.

Love the vibe here. The warm banana bread with butter is so good. It’s a nice place to post up and get some work done for a few hours. A little tricky to find tucked behind the swim shop, but worth it.

Came for happy hour, the rum cannonball slushy was a solid deal. The poke bowl was fresh, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. Still, a decent stop if you're in the area and want a drink.

The staff here is genuinely nice. Leah gave us a solid recommendation for the poke bowl, which was pretty good. The atmosphere is welcoming and has a real local feel. It was a bit noisy when we were there, but overall a decent spot.

The burger patty was cooked just right, juicy but not greasy. The bun held up well, didn't get soggy. Solid choice for a casual bite.
