There are many Chinese decorations in the store, which is very sentimental and the dishes are delicious.
At noon, strolling in the old town, I came across this unique restaurant by chance and entered happily. I chose a seat facing the street and watched the hustle and bustle of the street leisurely, feeling very comfortable. I was not particularly hungry, so I ordered a few dishes. First, I ordered a leap khai, which I really don’t know how to translate. It is a salad/cold dish consisting of various vegetables and chicken or tofu. When ordering, the waiter will ask if you want tofu or chicken. Tofu is recommended, which tastes better. Mango spring rolls are also a must. A typical local specialty. Mango, which represents the Southeast Asian style, is paired with various vegetables. Wrap them together with dough. It looks very appetizing and very light. I also ordered passion fruit yogurt and coffee, which tasted very good. 📷Environment and service: There are various old-fashioned posters hanging on the walls of the restaurant, and you can even find Chinese ones. There are also many plates hanging on the wall at the door. This restaurant seems to have used plates as menus, but when I went there, they had switched to normal menus. 💰Average consumption: I feel that the consumption of this restaurant is not particularly high. The few things I ordered cost about RMB 100. 📍Detailed address: Bouang #Local food #May Day travel anywhere #Springtime fun
Go down the mountain from the direction of the National Museum, and walk about 100 meters to the right, and you will see a distinctive foreign street. Many Westerners rest, eat and drink beer here. I chose this restaurant with the most romantic bougainvillea at the door. There are sofa chairs facing the street at the door, which are very comfortable. The restaurant offers Asian cuisine, including Westernized Laotian cuisine. Western cuisine includes hamburgers, fries or pasta, simple meals or fast food, and there are many drinks and alcoholic beverages to choose from. The restaurant is very clean, with red ceiling fans, traditional enamel basin decorations, yellow lanterns, posters of East Asian women's faces, and even advertisements for "Peking Beer". Because of the good location of Yangren Street, the price is more expensive than other areas, but it is worth the money. The beef burger is about 42 yuan, the grilled fish is about 45 yuan, the Laotian meatballs are about 34 yuan, the Thai beef salad is about 36 yuan, and the mango sticky rice is about 22 yuan (this is highly recommended!). In general, the prices here are 1/3 or more cheaper than those in China. #Local food #Afternoon tea for face control #Romantic date restaurant #Coffee travel #Scenic restaurant
