This was a surprise meal in Riga. It was just downstairs from the hotel. I had to catch a bus that day and didn&#39;t want to go out to eat, so I went in. There was a business lunch at noon, and they said it would be ready soon, so I sat down.

A free bread basket was given, but I didn&#39;t touch it because I was full.
Free water was given, which is rare abroad. After about a quarter of an hour, the main course came. The fried fish looked very good, and the grilled chicken breast looked very appetizing. The risotto rice underneath was especially good, very sticky. I remember that the ones I had before were rough and difficult to swallow.

I was surprised when I finally paid the bill, 5 euros per person. Including the tip, this is the most cost-effective meal I have ever eaten in Riga!

The waiter was very funny and exaggerated, like a skit actor, and he was also trying his best to get closer to the customers.

这是在里加吃的惊喜一餐。就在酒店的楼下，那天要赶车，不想去外头觅食，于是进去了。中午有商务午餐，说很快就可以做好，于是就坐下来。免费送了面包筐，因为很饱，所以没有动。送了免费水，这个在国外比较少见。 过了大约一刻钟，主菜上来了，炸鱼卖相非常不错，烤鸡胸肉看着也很有食欲，底下垫的risotto饭做的尤其赞，很糯，我印象中以前吃的都是糙糙的很难下咽。最后结帐才惊喜，5欧元一个人。加上小费，这是在里加吃过的性价比最高的一餐！服务员很逗，说话夸张，跟小品演员似的，也是在尽力与顾客拉近关系。

A medieval-style restaurant in the old city, underground, with an inconspicuous facade. I had no idea there was a restaurant. An old man dressed in medieval clothes at the door was playing an incomprehensible musical instrument, which attracted my attention. I went in and saw a different world. The food tasted average, the wine was good, and the bread was very special, wrapped in a cloth bag, but a little hard. The price was okay, cheaper than Shanghai.

This restaurant outside the walls of the old city of Riga has a very unique dining environment and vegetarian food. The dining is in a cellar, and each cellar has only four to five tables, which must be booked in advance. The entrance to the cellar is small and hidden. The cellar is illuminated by candlelight and oil lamps. The simple solid wood tables and chairs, the weak lights, reveal a sense of mystery, a bit like the scenes in the TV series Vampire Diaries.

Even the waiters are dressed in traditional costumes, and the wooden tables are illuminated by copper lanterns and candles. I have to admit that the special dining environment here can make people curious.
