Cozy and classy vibe, good for a business lunch. Service was attentive but not overbearing. The steak frites were cooked as requested, arrived promptly. A solid choice near the financial district.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is truly charming, with a warm welcome and a beautifully decorated space. The cheese platter was generous and absolutely delicious!

No. 9 of Bars in Montreal

Tried the chickpea and pork confit stew. The portion was huge, easily enough for two. For the price, it's a solid deal. Had leftovers for lunch the next day.

Clara was great. Offered wine tastings when we couldn't decide. Service was quick and on point.

The bone marrow pasta was the star of the night. Incredibly rich, perfect with a bold red wine. The rest of the menu was solid, but that dish alone is worth the trip. A bit on the pricier side, but you taste it.

Perfect for a quick lunch. The baguette sandwiches are fresh and come out fast. Lots of meat and veggie choices. That spicy mayo is really good. Got my order in under 10 minutes.

Staying at the hotel and the breakfast was included. Their eggs benedict really stood out. The hollandaise had a nice, bright lemony kick to it. A solid way to start the day.

The paneer tikka was a nice change, but I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients tasted. The spices felt clean and balanced.

The set menu is a decent deal. We tried the masaman curry and it was pretty good. The tapioca dessert was the highlight, actually – we ended up getting another one to take home.

The yellowtail tuna in the sashimi platter was really good. A bit pricey, but you can tell the ingredients are top-notch.

Walked in alone for a quick lunch, got a seat at the bar right away. The vibe is chill, service was fast. Had the chicken sandwich, came out hot and was solid. Good for a quick bite when you're on the go.

First time here and the chicken and waffles really stood out. The chicken was super juicy and the waffle had a nice crisp to it. Everything tasted really fresh.

Chef came by our table to say hello. You can tell they really care about the details here. The ingredients were fresh and everything felt thoughtfully put together. That kind of attention is nice to see.

Been coming here for years, and the quiet, comfortable vibe is what keeps me coming back. It's just the right level of calm for a proper conversation.

Pasta was perfectly al dente, a real treat. Tried the trio pasta dish, it was a solid choice. The texture was just right, not mushy at all. Felt like a good find for a random Tuesday dinner.

Been here a few times after hitting the market. The service is always solid, and the food is just consistently good. That's pretty much it.

The on-site sommelier was a highlight. He took the time to understand our order and suggested a specific pairing that worked very well. The wine list is quite extensive, which is a nice touch for a business dinner.

Good portions for the price. Got the lunch special, filled me up without breaking the bank. Solid spot for a quick bite.

Booked a window table for a girls' night, perfect spot to chat and people-watch. It gets busy, so definitely reserve ahead.

The chicken was cooked just right, juicy inside with a crisp skin. The sauce had a good, spicy kick without being overwhelming. Staff was friendly and the place was spotless. A solid spot for a straightforward meal.

The server was super helpful. She suggested the daily special and it was spot on. Honestly, good service like that makes a difference.

The fresh bread made right in the storefront is the highlight. You can watch them bake it. That warm, homemade feel with every bite. The rest of the meal was solid Turkish food.

The new owners kept the classic dishes. Had the lamb shank, slow-cooked for hours. The meat just fell off the bone, and the red wine sauce had a deep, rich flavor. Portion was generous.

Came here with friends after the race. Steve was a great server, really kept the vibe fun. The smoked meat sandwich was so good!

Been coming here for years. That duck confit poutine is the reason. It's just consistently good, exactly how you want it every single time. Never had a bad one.

Loved the homemade lasagna and the view of the old port. Solid spot.

While the drinks were enjoyable, the food was overpriced and not up to par. I would recommend this place for drinks rather than a full meal.

Family-run place, very welcoming. The owner told us about her dad's original Portuguese recipe, which was a nice touch.

The Barros Luco is a classic for a reason. Been ordering it for years. The portion is generous, you get a full, satisfying meal for the price. It's my go-to when I want something reliable and filling.
