Restaurant Le Chateaubriand

I was very disappointed to see that this is no longer the gourmet restaurant it once was, but the restaurant of the Ibis hotel, which has taken over the entire establishment: the menu is therefore completely different. Misled and disappointed by my birthday meal, the server nevertheless rose to the occasion to brighten up our dinner. A correction to The Fork website is urgent and necessary.

This is now the restaurant of an Ibis that has kept the same name. The food was terrible, nothing is fresh and half the dishes are unavailable. It's a disgrace to call it a restaurant. We had booked through The Fork (please update the restaurant page!!)

The description of "The Fork" is misleading, the setting is barely a neighborhood bistro. An ibis chain hotel between two streets, I'm still looking for the green surroundings. Dismal cuisine unworthy of a cafeteria. Poor menu, missing the only fish dish (salmon, whether tartare or fillet). The daily special was a ground steak with an overcooked egg. The chateaubriand fillet was very good, unlike the rest, with a béarnaise sauce that wasn't as good as the one at "Maille." For dessert, profiteroles were completely devoid of flavor and preparation, and so-called French toast lightly soaked in milk, with no vanilla or egg dip (I suspect the slice of bread was purchased in a supermarket). Congratulations to the Accor group, France's leading catering group. Fortunately, the server, who went out of his way, was very nice.

PATHETIC!!!!! The description of The Fork doesn't match what you find when you arrive at this restaurant's address. Our disappointment, even our anger, is linked to the information about The Fork!!!!!
