Nice spot, clean and plenty of seats. The free Turkish tea and delight they brought out was a nice surprise. The tea was strong and fragrant, just right after we sat down. A simple but thoughtful gesture.

The staff were really friendly, and I appreciated the wine list they suggested. It made the wait with the kids much smoother.

My husband and I have been travelling from Sheffield to the Fork every Sunday for the last few weeks as we feel this is the best carvery we have visited, and we&#39;ve visited many places. The service, food and atmosphere are without a doubt excellent in every way. Well done to everyone concerned. You&#39;ve got a great team !!!!

Sunday lunch today was our second meal here after an excellent prix fixe dinner earlier in the week. Everything from the buffet spread to start with to the main meal and dessert was first-rate, made even more special by the fact that the expected sirloin of beef was replaced by chateaubriand! Served pink at our request it was tender and succulent. Fullmarks to the chef and to Will our genial and professional server.

On a recent visit to Bettys Cafe and Tea Room in Harrogate, I was completely charmed. From the moment I walked in, the warm atmosphere and gentle buzz of conversation made me feel right at home. The staff were lovely and guided my wife and I to a cozy corner overlooking the memorial. We had a cheese scone and a fruit tart to share and for drinks we had a hot chocolate and a latte. The scone was heavenly scones, and the tart was fresh and tasty, it looked almost too good to eat. The m whole experience was lovely. Very impressed. I only made the booking as i bought a brand new Car and wanted to go for an hour drive. Lets just say i will be visiting again in the very near future. The eating area behind with the sun shining down and the most tasteful food served made it very memorable.
