Been coming here for years. The service is always friendly and quick, which is just what you want when you're after a quiet pint. They really get the little things right, like making sure your glass is never empty for too long. A very comfortable place to unwind.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. It's a clean, old-school spot with comfy booths and loads of space. The staff were really friendly, which was nice. Got the classic burger, solid.

Popped in for breakfast. The full English was spot on, bacon crispy, beans not too sweet. Good portion for the price. Staff were nice. Cosy little spot.

The food is solid and the prices are great. Their house red was a surprisingly good match for the pasta.

The fish and chips here is a proper bargain. We ordered the two fish with large chips and honestly couldn't finish it all. Perfect for sharing if you're hungry!

The chicken biryani here is fantastic, easily the best I've found in the area. The portion was generous for the price. I paired it with a surprisingly good local lager that cut through the spices nicely. Solid spot for a casual, flavourful meal.

Had the Moo pie for lunch. Flaky crust, tender beef. Gravy was the star, really good. Lots of other pie options looked interesting.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The sticky toffee pudding was the perfect way to end the meal, and the local ale complemented the food beautifully.

The food was excellent and the ambience very pleasant. The only thing to note was the waiting time for the food to arrive and the fact that the reservation was lost. However we were sat straight away.

The Hunan restaurant offers an incredible dining experience with its authentic and spicy dishes. The cilantro beef is a must-try, and the generous portions make it great value for money!

Been coming for years, and the Sunday roast is still the reason. They carve it right at your table.

We enjoyed a superb dining experience with delicious food and excellent service from Maisie B. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal!

I had an incredible Sunday lunch at The Refuge! The roast beef was exceptional, and the Irish Coffee was a delightful touch that brought back fond memories. I can't wait to return for another meal.

Adrian gave exemplary service to myself and those customers nearby. Good knowledge of the meal and drink options. Really tasty Farfalle salmon pasta with fresh salmon on the top. A few dishes were sold out but plenty of choices.

This restaurant offers a wonderful tasting menu that creatively combines flavors. The attention to detail in both the food and service made for a memorable evening. I can't wait to return!

The food quality here is impressive, especially the shrimp cocktail and salmon steak, which were cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this place for a delightful dining experience.

The lamb was excellent, and the chicken & spinach was very good. The BBQ dishes are well-cooked with a nice, juicy taste.
