The food is good, but I noticed the cutlery wasn't as clean as it should be. My fork had a bit of dried-on something. Tables felt a bit sticky too. It's a shame because the cooking itself is solid.

Penelope was lovely, not intrusive. The pizza dough tasted so fresh, you could tell it was made that day.

Nice spot on the old barge. Got a quick lunch here, the burger was decent. Good for a fast bite. Live music on weekends adds to the vibe. 👍

Been coming here for years, and the beer selection is always solid. Prices haven’t really crept up either, which is nice. Just a reliable spot for a pint after work.

Been going here for years. The new owners are doing a good job. They put on family stuff now, which is nice for the neighbourhood. Had a wood-fired pizza last week, proper tasty.

The small plates are a tasty complement, and I appreciate that the ingredients taste so fresh.

Been here a few times now, and the service is always spot on. This time, the waitress was so lovely with my little one, even brought over some extra napkins without us asking. Makes a difference when you're trying to eat in peace!

Service was attentive and friendly. Staff were quick to respond to requests, which made a business lunch here efficient. They handled a last-minute change to our order smoothly. Good for a reliable, no-fuss meal.

Burgers are fresh and huge portions for the price. Perfect for a quick, filling lunch. Got mine in under 10 minutes. Solid spot.

Friendly service, they bring your drinks over which is nice. The bar itself is the real draw - a solid selection of spirits. Found a great rye whiskey that paired surprisingly well with the steak. A bit on the pricier side for the cocktails, but that's expected in this area.

The lamb chops here are the reason I keep coming back. They're always cooked just right, so tender you barely need a knife. The flavour is deep, really well-seasoned. For what you pay, the portion is more than fair.

Great location in the centre of town. The staff were so generous with tasters, and the kids' ice cream portions were huge!

The food is consistently good. I really appreciate how fresh the ingredients are, you can taste the quality in the salads and grilled fish. The staff are always very helpful and friendly, which makes for a nice, relaxed meal.

The bartender was a real pro when my friend felt unwell. Calm, discreet, and knew exactly what to do. Service like that, especially with a good wine list to back it up, makes all the difference. Really solid.

A solid local for a quick bite. The app ordering is handy, no fuss. Food came out fast and the prices are fair. I was hoping for a more interesting beer selection to go with the fish and chips, but the lager was fine. Good for what it is.

Sunday carvery is solid. Beef was spot on, not dry. Cauliflower cheese was a standout. Service kept up well despite the crowd. Good option for a reliable Sunday lunch.

The food's good, but I found a few dishes needed more heat for my liking. The chicken curry, for example, was a bit mild. Still, the flavours are solid.

Lovely spot by the river. The view was really nice and made for a relaxed lunch. A bit on the pricier side for what you get, but the setting is hard to beat.

A solid Wetherspoons in a lovely village. Just right for a quick, cheap pint after hopping off the train.

The kebabs were fantastic, and they paired perfectly with a bold red wine. The homemade chilli sauce had a great kick to it.

The Fruit Salad ice cream was spot on, tasted just like the sweets. The place itself is really bright and airy, lots of natural light which I liked.
