No. 1 of Must-Visit Restaurants in Interlaken

The excellent service was only outclassed by the incredible cuisine. Our dishes were so good, I was brought to tears--a rare occurrence. The porcini ravioli with truffle and blueberries was delicate and divine. The AlpenZander with creamed saurkraut and mountain cranberries was like tasting God.

The steak, carved tableside, was the highlight&mdash;cooked exactly as asked. The Jungfrau view from the window didn&#39;t hurt either. Service kept pace nicely. A bit pricey, but for the setting, it felt fair.

We stumbled upon Brasserie St.Georges in Interlaken, and boy, are we glad we did! We&#39;d originally made reservations at a traditional Swiss place across the street, but honestly, we couldn&#39;t face another meal of fondue and potatoes. This place turned out to be exactly what we needed.Located in one of the nicest hotels in the area, Brasserie St.Georges offers a mix of Italian, French, and Swiss food. The restaurant itself has a great vibe - fancy enough for a nice dinner out, but still comfortable for a family meal.I went for the burger, and it was spot-on. Thick, juicy, and cooked just right - exactly what I was craving. My wife tried the Chicken Cordon Bleu, which was a hit. Instead of the usual ham, it had beef inside along with the melted cheese, all wrapped up in crispy breading. A nice twist on a classic.The real winner for us was the kids&#39; menu. Our daughter got the chicken tenders and loved them. It&#39;s not always easy to find good options for kids in Interlaken, so this was a big plus.What really stood out was the service. In a country known for good hospitality, these folks still managed to impress us. They were attentive without being overbearing, and seemed genuinely happy to help.The hotel that houses the restaurant is pretty impressive too - it&#39;s one of those beautiful, historic buildings you see all over Switzerland. It definitely added to the overall experience.If you&#39;re in Interlaken and looking for a break from traditional Swiss fare, or just want a really good meal, Brasserie St.Georges is the place to go. It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip, food-wise. We&#39;ll definitely be back next time we&#39;re in town.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed a sandwich plus a slice of quiche. Both were solid, fresh salad on the side looked nice. Cake counter caught my eye, lots of options. Staff was friendly enough, didn&#39;t rush me. Place felt relaxed, good for a casual bite if you&#39;re in the area.

Solid pub right in the middle of Zermatt. Had the Zermatter burger, beef was juicy and toppings fresh. Gets a bit chaotic when full but staff handled it fine.

Loved the breakfast here &mdash; right in the middle of everything. Staff were super friendly too.

The mint tea with plum schnapps caught me off guard&mdash;such a clever combo. Panini was solid too, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Easy walk from the station, which helps after a couple drinks.

Came here on a busy night and the place was buzzing. Mixed crowd, lots of languages flying around, people genuinely having fun. Staff were on it, kept drinks coming even when it got hectic. Only thing is it got a bit loud for conversation, but that&#39;s kind of the vibe. Good spot if you want energy over quiet talk.

Stopped by for lunch last week. Sandwiches were solid, bread was fresh. Service was quick, no complaints there. Sat outside, view was decent. Nothing fancy but it does the job. Might be a bit pricey for what you get, but I&#39;d come back if I&#39;m in the area.

The wine list changes all the time, always local stuff I haven&#39;t tried before. Beef tartare was the highlight, honestly the best I&#39;ve had in town. Service was friendly, place felt relaxed. Only thing is it gets a bit loud when it&#39;s full, but that&#39;s fine.

Nice spot to grab a beer and listen to some music. Staff were friendly and they had one of my favorite Swiss brews. Good place to stop before the boat.
