The team here is just lovely. Rhianne, Sophie, and Lewis are so warm and friendly. They remembered my name from my last visit, which was a really nice touch. Always a good laugh with them.

Great spot right by Brighton station, popped in before my train. Had the fish and chips - the batter was crisp but the chips were a bit soggy. Friendly vibe though.

Popped in for a drink and ended up staying for the fish and chips. Really fresh, the batter was super crisp and not greasy at all. A nice surprise for a casual afternoon.

The pork belly was spot on, really flavourful. Even the cabbage had a nice smoky edge. The wine list is decent, found a solid red that worked well with the richness. A bit on the pricier side for what it is, but the food delivers.

The beachfront tables are the best part. Grabbed a quick drink there after work, the view really hits the spot. Perfect for a fast unwind.

The Rise and Shine breakfast set is a solid choice. Comes with tea or coffee, good value. Eggs and bacon were cooked just right, not greasy at all. I go for this most mornings.

Lovely spot tucked away near the seafront. Sat outside with my friends on a sunny evening, perfect for a catch-up. The menu had some really interesting starters to share. The wine was surprisingly affordable too, which is always a plus for a group.

The team clearly cares about the food and service. It comes across in the details, like how they explained the specials. That genuine approach made for a solid, straightforward meal.

The flavours are so authentic and balanced. The presentation is beautiful too, each plate feels considered. A spot for classic Thai cuisine.

The fish and chips were proper pub grub done right. Came out piping hot, the batter was crispy and the chips were chunky. Just what you want on a drizzly evening.

Always a nice spot. I appreciate that the menu clearly marks the fresh, seasonal ingredients. The grilled vegetable plate was a standout - you could really taste the quality of the produce. It's a good idea to book ahead, as it gets quite busy.

The steak was cooked well, service was attentive without being intrusive. Atmosphere is relaxed, good for a business dinner. A bit on the pricier side, but you get what you pay for.

Lovely traditional pub in the Old Town, perfect spot after a stroll by the harbour. The atmosphere is so warm and cosy. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, which made for a very relaxed visit. My only small note is that the bench seating was a bit hard after a while.

Been coming here for years. The prices are still fair, portions are generous. Hard to find that combo in a place with this much history.

The duck red Thai curry is my go-to. It's never greasy, which is a huge plus for a takeout spot. Just had it again tonight, and it's always spot on.

The fish and chips are cooked to order, so there's always a short wait. Worth it though – the batter is really light and crispy, and the fish is fresh. A solid choice for a quick bite.

The set menu is a great deal. The portions are generous, and I really appreciated how fresh the ingredients in the pasta were.

Always a lively spot. The unlimited fries are a nice touch, and the food is reliably good. Had a decent Pinot Noir with the steak, though the wine list could use a few more interesting options.

Had my friend's party in the private room. It was so nice to chat properly even with the main bar being packed for the rugby.

Been coming here for years now. What keeps me coming back is the ale selection – always something new on tap, and it’s always spot on. Properly kept, never a bad pint. That consistency is hard to find.

Love popping in here for a Sunday roast with friends. It's always so hearty and filling, perfect for a lazy weekend catch-up. The beef was spot on this time. Such a cosy spot for a group.

Lovely rustic pub, perfect for catching up with friends. The outdoor seating was a nice touch on a sunny day!
