TheForkUserCute place. Good food overall. Music was a bit intense and I prefer to avoid television while eating at a nice restaurant. The seafood soup was delicious though the presence of so many bones and shells made it a challenge.
TheForkUserGreat staff, but with a very busy night the service was a bit delayed; nevertheless the friendliness of the staff is very polite.
TheForkUserIt wash amazing me and my girlfriend loved all of it, the food, the service all the shows that were preformed, everything!
TheForkUserBeautiful location & ambience. The sushi and sashimi were excellent and the presentation over dry ice made it very artistic. We will definitely return!
TheForkUserThe atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were helpful to us as visitors to Lisbon. We were trying Portuguese dishes. I had the codfish - chef style, and it was delicious. My husband had the sea bass in a tasty broth. Desserts were spot on. We had red summer sangria which was perfect for the summer evening. The prices were extremely reasonable, especially for the quality that we had. Highly recommend this place.
TheForkUserBest gyosas in town. Service super nice, good ambience and in overall, great meal. Already the second time coming here and will come way more times
TheForkUserExcellent Italian-style pizza and pasta in Lisbon downtown nearby the most iconic spots of the city. Guys very attentive and gentle, Paulo in particular is super welcoming and open to accommodate the needs of the customers. 10 cum laude!
TheForkUserOur second time at prova, and everything was excellent again. We really like being able to get recommendations of wine, and try things, by the glass, that we normally couldn't. The fellow that runs the place really knows his wine so well, and recommends such great, unknown gems. The food is also terrific. 🍷
TheForkUserthe two girls working on that day, were super nice, kind, friendly and attentive. the burgers were 10/10 and the space is also very cozy.
TheForkUserThé pizzas were excellent and the service was also very good. My son had two pizzas, which was reasonable given the discount!
TheForkUserThis is such a gorgeous location, tucked away on the edge of campo d'Ourique, and when you enter you see it really is a little winter garden at the back of the building which houses most of the restaurants tables. They have some patio heaters dotted around in the ceiling, so it's comfortable. But, with the lighting, the outdoor air, it's a great start. The welcome and service were also excellent throughout, whether it was our great waitress or the manager who assisted a couple times, it was the right blend of familiar friendliness and professionalism. Food was excellent, a smallish menu, and some things were not sold out, denoting that they use fresh produce, and this was in evidence in the taste, too. Lots of French wine at different price points and some interesting, original cocktails topped it off. Very good. We'll be back.
TheForkUserThe staff is very kind and friendly and the food is great! We ate cheese, garlic gambas, octopus and fish! The sweet rice was also great! The place is a bit narrow, but I think it’s typical of the neighborhood! I recommend it!
TheForkUserAmazing tapas! Everything we ate was marvelous. The Tempura de bacalhau “à Sá” is pure bliss. Bochechas de porco ibérico, gengibre, vinho do porto e cogumelos, the pork simply melts in your mouth. Batata Doce alhada com alecrim e canela, the sweetpotato with rosemary and cinnamon was not a simple side order, but a deligth in its own right. Delicate tastes and wonderful spices. Also a very attentive service in a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful warm and inviting decor. Definitely our best dinner in Lisboa.
TheForkUserWe had a lovely time at a lovely restaurant. Food was yummy, service was outstanding and pricing seemed fair. We enjoyed a Garlic Octopus starter as well as the Goat Cheese. Roasted Salmon, Curried Shrimp (excellent seasoning not too spicy) and a shared Shrimp in Rice. The meal ended with a Creme Brule and we all walked out happy.
TheForkUserI always enjoy coming here when we’re in the area. The staff is very friendly and sensitive to children, adapting the dishes and providing them with drawing materials. The octopus was tender and tasty. The salmon was good too. Enjoyed the “cookie cake” with expresso. Overall a very good experience.
TheForkUserQuite happy but, decreasing quality, music to loud, light poorly distributed and food becoming less appealing with this vegan nonsense. Otherwise staff always nice and professional keeps you happy.
TheForkUserThe service and quality was superb - so much more for the price you pay. High end interior as well, would definitely recommend
TheForkUserWe've eaten at Ola Napel a few times now with the family, and every time has been awesome. The food is always amazing — we love everything from the mango lassi to the korma, tikka, and that super tasty basmati rice. Honestly, every dish we’ve tried has been delicious. The staff is super friendly too — we always feel really welcome and taken care of. It’s just a great spot to eat well and enjoy some good family time.
TheForkUserGreat service, beautiful room. Perfect tenderloin and sea bass (and linguini) visit it before it closes (or moves location)
TheForkUserExceptionally delicious Indian food! After having a great experience the first time we had dinner there, we definitely wanted to repeat it. Tried different dishes - 2 starters, 2 curries and 1 dessert - and everything was just excellent. The food comes fast and the service is up to standard. The servers are really attentive and polite, making you feel a valued customer. If we have no time to dine again there this trip to Lisbon, we’ll definitely do it next time we are here.
TheForkUserThis was the perfect place to meet cousins we had not seen in a while. Lots of drinks, their kids were able to order dish after dish while we chatted for ages. I found plenty of vegetarian options while the meat and shrimp lovers got their fill. I can only speak for myself -- yummy mushrooms with quail eggs, dissapointing patas bravas. The pitcher of sangria was refreshing. The location was lovely.
TheForkUserOne of the best ramen shops in Portugal. Lots of option to choose from and their ramen is always, spot on and delicious. Missing a shop in the northern region ;)
TheForkUserExquisite cuisine. In the beautiful Belém district, the restaurant’s chef introduces us to Portuguese cuisine, interpreting it with elegance and elevating it to the level of haute cuisine. An excellent wine list, including an outstanding selection of champagnes. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
TheForkUserWe had a delicious meal at Indian Gate. The food is amazing, the staff and owners are wonderful. Friendly and helpful. If the food didn’t bring you back, the owner's loveliness would. They brought over us some homemade hot sauce for us to try, it certainly needs a warning label on, it was hotter than hot. ???? They very kindly package it up for to take home. We look forward to sharing it with the people who say they can eat any level of spice ????
TheForkUserFood excellent, very well-cooked and presented, lacked fancy frills and irrelevancies. The service, especially by a young lady from Nepal, was beyond first class, charming, instantaneous, non-intrusive, and all accomanied by an enchanting happy smile. A blythe spirit, a member of a superb team. The room is beautiful, as the view would have been except it was dark outside.
