TheForkUserGreat restaurant in a good location . Lovely food and wine and excellent service . We so enjoyed the Fado.. it was truly special. Thank you
_TI***kaThe restaurant offers a good range of drink options and the fisherman's pasta was particularly enjoyable. It's a nice place to unwind after a day of exploring.
TheForkUserThe atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were helpful to us as visitors to Lisbon. We were trying Portuguese dishes. I had the codfish - chef style, and it was delicious. My husband had the sea bass in a tasty broth. Desserts were spot on. We had red summer sangria which was perfect for the summer evening. The prices were extremely reasonable, especially for the quality that we had. Highly recommend this place.
TheForkUserBest gyosas in town. Service super nice, good ambience and in overall, great meal. Already the second time coming here and will come way more times
TheForkUserExcellent Italian-style pizza and pasta in Lisbon downtown nearby the most iconic spots of the city. Guys very attentive and gentle, Paulo in particular is super welcoming and open to accommodate the needs of the customers. 10 cum laude!
TheForkUserThe attentive, warm service and high-quality ingredients were highlights. We’ve been before, but the pizza was the best yet! More people should visit Crouton.
TheForkUserOur second time at prova, and everything was excellent again. We really like being able to get recommendations of wine, and try things, by the glass, that we normally couldn't. The fellow that runs the place really knows his wine so well, and recommends such great, unknown gems. The food is also terrific. 🍷
TheForkUserThe staff was very attentive and the salt cooked sea bass was phenomenal! Also dining several tables away was the Portuguese President with his party.
TheForkUserWhat a wonderful find!A cozy and welcoming atmosphere with incredibly warm and attentive service. The food was spectacular! Authentic Brazilian cuisine (sou brasileiro) with refined touches. Can’t wait to go back!!!
TheForkUserWe had a sunny day. We sat harborside. The seating is actually much better than what appears in the pictures on the webpage. Though a sushi shop, it also has some robatayaki offerings. The dishes were well presented, fresh, and tasty. In all, we had a wonderful time and plan to return.
TheForkUserRestaurant near the "parque Eduardo VII" and subway blue line. Excellent cuisine from Portugal: starters, main dishes and desserts are all fresh, well prepared and tasty. We enjoyed all the seafood. There is a good selection of drinks and wines. The service is effective, fast and well-done. That's a nice place to go.
TheForkUserFood is great, and there is variety for vegetarians and the ambiance is amazing. It was my 3rd time and I will for sure be back
TheForkUserA fantastic simple place with great staff offering value for money and a nice selection of courses that made me feel I was back in Mexico. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserThe service and ambience was great … food very tasty too but note - portions are quite large (so we over ordered and couldn’t finish).
_TI***1lI had a fantastic meal with a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. The service was prompt and attentive, enhancing the overall experience.
TheForkUserFood was really good! Drinks were good and strong. Servers were super kind, attentive and always smiling. Worrying if everything is alright or we need more drinks. Very much recommend!
TheForkUserThe waiting staff were outstanding!!The food was excellent, and at the waiters suggestion, we tried the white Sangria - wow!! All in all a fabulous experience !!
TheForkUserBest sushi in town and I have tried a lot. The restaurant is not fancy in terms of interior, you may even call it simple, but the quality of food is at the very high level thanks to the location next to Saldana fresh market. Simple fact: there’s not so many places where you can eat tuna belly sushi/sashimi (whatever). If you’re foodie, that’s your place. If you’re looking something posh and don’t care about food so much, you better go somewhere else.
TheForkUserThis may be our favorite restaurant in Lisbon. In 2023, we went three times during a two week stay, and we went twice during our week this past month of May. The proprietor and server were wonderful, friendly and even provided extra tastes of Madeiran wine and Port. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere friendly and intimate. We felt almost like locals! If we lived in Lisbon, it would definitely be a regular dining spot for us. We especially loved the fish (Sea bream?), Cuttle Fish, Octopus... and the White Negronis! Cheese and olives were delicious too.
TheForkUserHorta dos Brunos is one of the best Portuguese restaurants. Wonderful ambience, delicious simple food, lovely staff, and amazing wine list. Honestly a great place.
TheForkUserFood was great, from the bruschettas to the tirramisu: amazing! Unfortunately I personnaly don't appreciate it when a restaurant suggest a gratuity on the bill. I paid in cash (bill was 74,2 without the suggested 10% gratuity and I left 80 in the box) and the watiter asked if I wanted the change... of course I do! This made the last moment I had at the restaurant awkward for me and I left with a bad aftertaste from what would have been an excellent experience.
TheForkUserVery good restaurant, the food is excellent, the staff are smiling and helpful, and the prices are affordable. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserThis place was such a pleasant surprise. Lovely food and excellent service in a charming little restaurant. We will be back very soon, for sure.
TheForkUserOne of the best restaurants in Lisbon. Have gone around 10 times. Good quality food at a reasonable price and great service. The meat is exceptional.Highly recommended.
_TI***qiThis restaurant is a hidden gem in Lisbon! The food is fantastic, especially the Banoffee pancakes, which are a must-try!
TheForkUserAround for >40 yrs, this restaurant still feels fresh and "on its toes". Excellent food. The traditional Portuguese staples impeccably prepared (like your grandma from the countryside would consider really good) and yet with a modern twist. Materials top notch. Great wine list. Sommelier outstanding. Service runs like a well oiled machine, while still being personable. All in all we were very happy with our meal. 10/10.
