TheForkUserThe food is amazing in terms of ingredients and portion! The potato chips is fresh cut and the cod fish is great seasoned and the portion is generous
TheForkUserAll the dishes looked amazing but the francesinha that we took was simply amazing. The sauce is crazy good.
_TI***14The service at this restaurant is top-notch! Our waiter, Lucas, was incredibly friendly and attentive, which really enhanced our dining experience. The food was also fantastic, making it a memorable evening.
TheForkUserIf you're staying in this part of the city, this has to be a must. A beautiful building, fantastic food and wine and attentive, friendly staff. We loved it.
TheForkUserThe food was very good. Good atmosphere and beautiful location. Staff very friendly. Service a little bit slow and disorganised. Overall very positive, and on a service level there is opportunity for improvement.
_TI***qjThe service at BYF Steakhouse was exceptional, with staff who were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, enhancing the overall dining experience.
TheForkUserMy wife and I were absolutely shocked with how good and authentic the food was. It was a delightfully simple menu in both portugese and english. We had the Crispy Chicken Rice and Oven Roasted Veal and both were so good. Our server recommended a Red from Douro which was so good we had a second glass (and at 6 Euro a glass why not!).We were not even going to have dessert but you know what happens when you just look at the dessert menu !Locals and travel groups stop here which I think is a great sign and they also understand being Celiac and can help guide you through the menu.I am Celiac myself and did not react to anything I ate but I do not believe they have a seperate kitchen area for severe Celiac sufferers.Highly recommended !!
TheForkUserVery good hamburguers. Not the cheapest, drinks take more time to be served than expected, but homely, cozy and friendly atmosphere and the food is THAT good. Don't drive there, it's a pain in the ass to find a parking spot for your car. Take the subway instead, "Roma".
TheForkUserLovely staff, so friendly and helpful. Loved the food, especially the prawns on a washing line! Will definitely visit again.
TheForkUserA fantastic simple place with great staff offering value for money and a nice selection of courses that made me feel I was back in Mexico. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserThe service and ambience was great … food very tasty too but note - portions are quite large (so we over ordered and couldn’t finish).
_TI***1lI had a fantastic meal with a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. The service was prompt and attentive, enhancing the overall experience.
TheForkUserFood was really good! Drinks were good and strong. Servers were super kind, attentive and always smiling. Worrying if everything is alright or we need more drinks. Very much recommend!
TheForkUserThe waiting staff were outstanding!!The food was excellent, and at the waiters suggestion, we tried the white Sangria - wow!! All in all a fabulous experience !!
TheForkUserBest sushi in town and I have tried a lot. The restaurant is not fancy in terms of interior, you may even call it simple, but the quality of food is at the very high level thanks to the location next to Saldana fresh market. Simple fact: there’s not so many places where you can eat tuna belly sushi/sashimi (whatever). If you’re foodie, that’s your place. If you’re looking something posh and don’t care about food so much, you better go somewhere else.
TheForkUserThis may be our favorite restaurant in Lisbon. In 2023, we went three times during a two week stay, and we went twice during our week this past month of May. The proprietor and server were wonderful, friendly and even provided extra tastes of Madeiran wine and Port. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere friendly and intimate. We felt almost like locals! If we lived in Lisbon, it would definitely be a regular dining spot for us. We especially loved the fish (Sea bream?), Cuttle Fish, Octopus... and the White Negronis! Cheese and olives were delicious too.
TheForkUserHorta dos Brunos is one of the best Portuguese restaurants. Wonderful ambience, delicious simple food, lovely staff, and amazing wine list. Honestly a great place.
TheForkUserFood was great, from the bruschettas to the tirramisu: amazing! Unfortunately I personnaly don't appreciate it when a restaurant suggest a gratuity on the bill. I paid in cash (bill was 74,2 without the suggested 10% gratuity and I left 80 in the box) and the watiter asked if I wanted the change... of course I do! This made the last moment I had at the restaurant awkward for me and I left with a bad aftertaste from what would have been an excellent experience.
TheForkUserVery good restaurant, the food is excellent, the staff are smiling and helpful, and the prices are affordable. Highly recommended.
TheForkUserThis place was such a pleasant surprise. Lovely food and excellent service in a charming little restaurant. We will be back very soon, for sure.
TheForkUserOne of the best restaurants in Lisbon. Have gone around 10 times. Good quality food at a reasonable price and great service. The meat is exceptional.Highly recommended.
_TI***qiThis restaurant is a hidden gem in Lisbon! The food is fantastic, especially the Banoffee pancakes, which are a must-try!
TheForkUserAround for >40 yrs, this restaurant still feels fresh and "on its toes". Excellent food. The traditional Portuguese staples impeccably prepared (like your grandma from the countryside would consider really good) and yet with a modern twist. Materials top notch. Great wine list. Sommelier outstanding. Service runs like a well oiled machine, while still being personable. All in all we were very happy with our meal. 10/10.
TheForkUserIt was a Wednesday, so it was not busy. My girlfriend and i loved everything, so we highly recommend
TheForkUserThis was our second visit after not visiting the restaurant for a couple of years, and I think, if anything, we enjoyed it more this time. Excellent food - the toro with foie gras marinated in amaretto was a particular highlight, the staff were excellent, cocktail to start and wine were excellent.
TheForkUserThe food was delicious, fresh, and amazingly seasoned. The falafel, schwarma, and hummus alone were enough to return, but the pomegranate cheesecake set it over the top. The Ismalye was also very good.
TheForkUserVery good choice of pizzas especially the non classics ones, tasty desserts (choose the pick me up), excellent sangria as well. The place is nice with a lot of space and perfect atmosphere: chill music. The cherry on top of the cake is definitively the service: very professional and efficient. A special mention to the waitress ‘Sunim’ who was lovely and paid a lot of attention to the comfort of all the customers. Thank you for the perfect dinner!
TheForkUserWe ordered the slow cooked ribs and they were absolutely fantastic! We loved every single bite and sip of our lovely evening!
