Loved the calm atmosphere here. The staff were so welcoming and attentive, they even asked about dietary needs and had gluten-free options. It made the whole experience feel really relaxed and considered.

Grabbed a takeaway from here before heading to the beach. The location is spot on for that. The portion size for the price was decent, enough for a proper lunch by the sea.

Sunday roast hit the spot. Meat was tender, potatoes crispy, gravy rich. Just what you want on a lazy Sunday. Felt proper.

Stopped in for lunch, and the jacket potato was huge! Really appreciated the portion size for the price. The potato skin was crisp, and the filling was simple but fresh. Nice to see they're dog-friendly too.

Been coming here for years, and it's the welcome that keeps me coming back. The owner always remembers my name, and the staff make you feel like you're just popping into a friend's place. It's that consistency that matters.

Been coming here for years, and the BLT with their homemade coleslaw is the reason. It's always just right—crisp bacon, fresh bread, good portion. That consistency keeps me coming back. A solid local spot.

Lovely, cosy pub. The fire was lit, and the whole place just felt warm and welcoming. Had the steak and ale pie - proper comfort food, really hit the spot. Just a nice, relaxed evening.

Busy lunchtime but the staff were still cheerful. The seafood feast looked stunning, tasted even better. Had the grilled scallops and they were spot on.

Decent portion sizes, and the curry sauce was spot on. I paired it with a crisp lager, which worked surprisingly well. Prices are fair. A good, no-fuss lunch.

Been coming here for years, and the garden's still the best part. Perfect for a pint with my dog after a walk in the village. It's just a really nice, consistent spot to unwind.

Been here a few times. The dining room is really something - high ceilings, old wood. Food's solid, especially the lamb. Carl, the manager, remembers regulars. Booked again for next summer.

Staff here are super friendly and attentive. The place gets packed but they handle the rush well. Love that it's a family-run spot supporting other local producers.

Just popped in for a quick bite. The pasta was clearly fresh and homemade, which was nice. Prices are fair for what you get.

The Sunday roast beef was the star. Cooked perfectly pink, tender and full of flavour. The roast potatoes were crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The Yorkshire pudding was a bit dry, but the gravy was rich and saved it. That's what I came for.

The sushi school class was solid. Brandon knows his stuff, no doubt. We made maki and nigiri, and the fish quality was decent. Came away with a full platter to take home. The hands-on part is what you're paying for, really.

The staff were so kind. One server really took the time to help me adjust a dish for my dietary needs, which I appreciated.

The bacon and cheese roll with onion relish was lovely. The staff were so friendly, which made it a really pleasant stop.

Been coming here for years, and the layout is what keeps me coming back. The tables are spaced just right – you can actually have a conversation without feeling like you're on top of the next table. It's a rare thing these days.

The upstairs is quiet and spacious, perfect for focusing. The student discount is a nice touch, and the coffee is decent for the price.

Been coming here for years. Coffee's always solid, and the staff are friendly. It's a reliable spot for a quick cuppa and a bite. Nothing fancy, but you know what you're getting.

The portions are massive! The food's fresh and tasty, definitely lives up to the hype.

The brisket fajita was huge, one is definitely a meal! Loved watching them cook it fresh. The smoky chipotle sauce was just right. Perfect for a casual catch-up with mates, we ended up sharing a few.

Popped in for a weekend brunch with the girls. The latte was lovely, and my avocado toast was super fresh. The staff were so nice, which made it a really relaxed spot to catch up. A bit on the pricier side, but the vibe was just right for a lazy morning chat.

Friendly staff, quick to refill water and check in. They remembered we'd been before, which was a nice touch. Service felt attentive without being overbearing.

The staff were so attentive, checking in just enough without being intrusive. They noticed my friend needed a refill on water before we even asked. Really appreciated that level of care during our lunch.

Great halal food with a proper spicy kick. The staff even gave us some sightseeing tips. The wine list was a pleasant surprise, had a nice glass with the lamb.

Grabbed a coffee and a slice of cake from the takeaway hatch. Quick and easy when you're just passing by. The coffee was good, cake was fresh. Simple and did the job.

My flat white was spot on as always. The gluten-free brownie was a nice treat, but a bit on the dry side this time. Still, it's my regular stop in Padstow.

Lovely spot for a chilled afternoon. Grabbed a table outside and just watched the world go by on the beach for ages. The vibe is so relaxed, perfect for a solo coffee or a catch-up.

Ordered the chicken curry again. The sauce is the main thing for me, thick and spiced just right, perfect for dipping the naan. Portions are always generous, everything arrives hot. Had a missing side once, but they sorted it fast.
