The portions are absolutely huge here. My partner and I shared a main and still had leftovers to take home. You definitely get a lot for your money.

The staff chatting while they worked gave the place a really nice, lively vibe. It was lovely to hear. Food was fresh and tasty.

No food served, but they're fine with you bringing in takeaway from nearby spots. Good for a quick pint after work if you've already grabbed a bite. The location is the main draw.

Lovely spot in a historic building. I really appreciate that the food is made fresh on-site. The pasties I took away were still warm and tasted so wholesome. It's nice to know exactly what you're eating.

The onion bhaji was spot on - super crispy without being oily at all. The curries were nicely cooked, good portions too. Staff were friendly and had a bit of a laugh with us.

Hot and fresh, just what you need for a quick bite. The coffee is huge, perfect for a lunch break. They're dog-friendly too, which is a nice touch. Simple food done well, no complaints.

The sticky toffee pudding was really good, and the portions are decently generous. We left feeling quite full. The service was a little slow, but it was a nice meal overall.

We're regulars and the food is always spot on. The staff know our usual wine order, which is a nice touch.

The steak and kidney pasty was solid. Big chunks of meat, felt like a proper homemade one. Just what I needed on a damp afternoon.

A proper cosy pub, this. The owner's a friendly chap - he was happy for us to bring in pasties from the bakery down the road. Sat outside with a pint and a pasty, just what you need.

Been here a few times, mostly for drinks. Their wine list is solid, with some interesting local options. Had the steak last visit, which was decent. A bit pricey for what it was, but the staff are always friendly. Dog-friendly patio is a nice touch.

The king do chicken and curry sauce were spot on. Veg rolls had nice crunch from the water chestnuts. Rice was decent. Service was quick, no fuss. Been here a few times now, it's reliable.

The chef really knows his stuff for gluten-free. Took the time to walk me through the whole menu, even knew where they source the ingredients. Most dishes can be made GF. Food was spot on, and the garden's a nice spot on a sunny day.

The food is cooked fresh even when they're packed. You can see it happening. I don't mind the short wait at all—it feels right. Calling ahead does save you some time, though.

Perfect for a quick bite with mates. We grabbed a couple of the small Cornish pasties and honestly, they were so filling! Loved watching them get made fresh. Just a simple bakery, but the vibe is spot on for a casual catch-up.

Took the kids here for a birthday. The staff were brilliant with them, really patient. Food was tasty, especially the kids' pasta. The old hotel setting is lovely, bit of a maze to find the entrance though.

Jo the landlady is a gem, really knows her stuff. She explained the specials with such detail, you could tell she’s passionate about the food. Made the whole visit feel relaxed and personal. A proper local spot.

A very clean place, which is always nice to see. Had a decent coffee with my dessert. The selection of beans was pretty good.

Been coming here for years. They've always been good about my gluten-free needs, and the staff double-checks everything without making a fuss. It's just a reliable spot for that.

The online ordering was a lifesaver for our group. We could all just pick what we wanted on our phones and chat while we waited.

Visited the Salumi restaurant on Sunday the 30th. To celebrate two major events of that date. Firstly my 73rd birthday and my sons 11th Wedding Anniversary. The restaurant from the outside looks deceptive regarding its size. Though once inside the welcoming atmosphere and decor were totally delightful. The seating areas were spacious and the seats were very comfortable chairs. All the staff were friendly, polite, respectful and helpful and a credit to their profession. There were good varied choices on the menu. From which I chose the Sunday roast Turkey and Honey with all the trimmings and was totally delicious, and I enjoyed the brilliantly cooked food a lot. The best I have ever tasted in any restaurant. It was seriously that good. I was very impressed when the ordered food was delivered to our table, and the waiter that served us described every food item being served per plate per individual. NEVER had that done before, and it made one feel special somehow, but nice. It was a really nice additional touch to a perfect meal. The portions were generously large and well presented. The prices were more than reasonable and all 8 of us were well catered. Nothing was too much trouble for the brilliant staff at the Salumi. We all enjoyed our meals. I can't praise this restaurant or it's staff high enough. I highly recommend this restaurant ladies and Gents. Well worth a visit. The best was at the end. As being the birthday boy, I was given a FREEBI dish of sorbet ice cream and chocolate cake slice. My wife and I will definately be paying the Salumi restaurant another visit for sure.

The salad bowl here is a solid choice. Loads of fresh stuff to pick from, and the portion is generous for the price. I appreciate that. Could use a bit more protein maybe, but still a good lunch.
