Nice spot for a quick pint. Love the old-school vibe inside, especially the lighting. Staff were patient, no rush. Grabbed a seat at a round table, drink came fast. Perfect for a short break.

The staff were really friendly, and the chef happily tweaked a dish for me. Prices are fair. I had a glass of their house red with my meal, and it was a solid pairing.

Ordered a real cheat lunch with waffles, bacon and chicken it’s was delicious, the waffle was hard, so asked the server Nikki and within 5 mins they had replaced it with a fresh hot one :) yummy

The staff were really friendly and attentive. Made our Father's Day meal feel relaxed and enjoyable. Great atmosphere in there too.

The team here are just so lovely. They remembered it was my birthday and brought out a little dessert with a candle - a really sweet touch that made the evening.

Nice spot near the station, so easy to pop in. The interior is modern and feels quite cozy. Had the grilled salmon, which was pretty good, though the portion was a touch small for the price.

A decent spot for lunch. The salads were pretty fresh and the prices seemed fine. It's just a short walk to the beach, which is nice. The menu had a good variety, though the place got a bit busy.

The staff handled our group of 20 without a hitch. Food arrived hot and together, which is a feat for a big table. They kept the waters topped up and cleared plates promptly. Made the whole evening run smoothly.

Handy for a pre-theatre drink, being right next to the Grand. Gets packed when a show's about to start, though.

Been coming here for years. The open grill in the middle is what keeps me coming back. You can see everything being cooked fresh. Portions are still generous, and the manager always remembers my usual order.

The beer is good, a solid selection of ales. I've heard the food is excellent, but I'm here for the pint. It's a proper pub, nothing fancy. The Monday quiz is a decent night out if you're into that.

Been coming here for years. The view over the bay is the main draw for me, never gets old. Food's always solid, nothing fancy but you know what you're getting. Decent spot for a quiet pint.

Stumbled in for a Sunday roast. The roast beef was spot on, really tender. Felt like a proper local pub, nice and relaxed. Good portion for the price too.

Sunday lunch here, the lamb and beef were spot on. Tender, good flavour, proper gravy. Portions are decent. It's a solid choice for a weekend roast.

The food was really fresh, you could tell the ingredients were quality. The atmosphere was nice, but honestly, I was just focused on how clean and simple the dishes were. A good spot for a healthy meal.

Stopped in after a coastal walk. The Americana pizza was decent, but honestly? Those homemade chips that came with the burger were the star. So crispy and perfectly seasoned. Just sat by the window watching the rain over the bay – a really nice, quiet spot.

The staff were really attentive, checking in just enough without hovering. They were great with our toddler, brought a highchair without us asking and didn't rush us at all. Made the whole meal much more relaxed.

The staff were so helpful with my gluten-free needs. They took the time to explain which dishes could be adapted and checked everything carefully. Really appreciated their attention to detail. Made dining out feel much less stressful.

Been coming here for years. The outdoor seating is perfect on a sunny day. Had a gin and cider, just watching the bay. It's the simple things.

As an ale fan, the selection on tap is solid. Had a few pints, all well-kept. Prices are fair for the quality, didn't feel like I was overpaying. Good spot for a proper drink.
