Came in right before closing and they still served us, which was nice. The steak was tender, but honestly, for the price, the portion felt a bit small. I left thinking I could have gotten more elsewhere for the same money.

Booked for a quiet Sunday dinner. The roast beef was well-done but still surprisingly tender, with a generous portion of veg. The rich gravy was perfect for a robust red wine. Solid value for the price.

The private function room was perfect for our family Christmas meal. Staff were really welcoming.

The breakfast sandwich in the croissant puck was a real find. Egg, hash brown, that special mayo... gone before I could even think of a photo.

We went on here at Christmas absolutely brilliant we will be there again this Christmas brilliant atmosphere 😀

Sandwiches are fresh and tasty. The chilli jam pork pies are a good addition. Quick bite sorted.

Solid coffee spot. They have a few varieties and will grind the beans for you. The setting is unique, which is a nice plus. Good for a quick, reliable cup.

The ice cream sundae was massive! Honestly, couldn't finish it myself. For the price, you get a ton. Just a heads up, it's a lot for one person.

Been grabbing lunch here a few times now. Food's solid, comes out quick which is key for me. Staff are friendly too. Found my regular spot.

The new coffee lounge at the back is a nice spot. Got the 'Chess board' platter. Good for sharing, decent amount for the price.

Nice spot when it's raining. The vegan cake had a really interesting texture, almost like marshmallow.

Hired out the bar for a private do. The space itself was spot on for our group size. Everything flowed well on the night. Ed and the team were really helpful sorting the planning beforehand, made the whole thing straightforward.

Lovely spot by the water for a full English. The sausage was the highlight, really well-made. Scone was tasty, coffee hit the spot. Just a nice, relaxed breakfast.

Lovely spot by the canal for a quiet morning. The full English breakfast was spot on, especially the black pudding and those perfectly cooked tomatoes. A really nice start to the day.

Stumbled in after a few places were packed. Ordered the stuffed aubergine and lamb chops. Portions were generous, honestly felt like two meals in one. The baklava was a nice touch.

Scrambled eggs on soda bread were spot on. Tea came in nice cups, and the prices felt fair for what you get.

Stopped by for a hot chocolate and a scone during a chilly walk. The scone was warm, with a nice crumb and not too dry. They let my dog in, which was a nice touch. The staff were pleasant. A solid spot for a quick break.

Been coming here for years. The veggie options are always solid, and they never seem to change or disappear from the menu. That consistency is what keeps me coming back. The team is friendly, sure, but for me it's really about knowing what I'm getting.

Been grabbing their pizza for takeout since day one. It's the kind of reliable comfort food you can always count on. Never had a bad one, even on a busy Friday night. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Loved that we could bring our dog inside! The chai latte was really nice, creamy and just the right amount of spice. Staff were super chill about us customising our brunch order too.

Lovely old pub, really welcoming. The outdoor space is fantastic for families, with a proper play area for the kids. A proper village pub feel, which is nice to see.

The sticky toffee French toast was massive! Perfect for sharing with a friend. Megan was a lovely server.

The liver meze and calamari were stunning, and the steak was incredible. The service was wonderful and the interior of the restaurant is beautiful.

Been coming for years. The set menu is still under £20 for three courses, which is pretty good these days.
