Service was pleasant and the pasta was pretty good. The waitress was attentive without being overbearing. A solid meal overall, though the portion felt a bit on the smaller side.

The steak was exactly medium-rare as I asked. The peppercorn sauce was rich and had a nice kick. Veggies were crisp and well-seasoned. A solid, straightforward meal.

Been coming here for years, and the burger deals on certain days are still a solid reason to swing by. Portions are generous, which is nice. The kids' menu is a decent size too, keeps the little one happy. It's just a reliable spot for that.

First time trying the Lamb Cawl here. It was so rich and hearty, really hit the spot on a damp evening. The broth had a deep, savoury flavour that was just right.

Food came quick and tasted good. Drinks were decently priced, especially for the city centre. Not a bad spot to grab a bite.

The fish and chips were solid, a proper generous portion. The fish was flaky and fresh. I had a local pale ale with it, which cut through the batter nicely. Classic pub grub done right.

The vegetable lasagne was really nice and filling. I appreciate that they have both vegetarian and vegan choices clearly marked on the menu, makes ordering so much easier. Good, honest food for the price.

Good for a quick bite. Lamb biryani had great flavour, portions are big for the price. Got my food fast, which is what I needed.

Booked ahead, small place. No menu, just the daily specials described in Italian. Three courses about £50. BYOB, no corkage.

Booked weeks ahead, and I'm glad we did. The space is tiny, maybe ten tables? Felt cosy, not cramped. The low lighting and those mismatched vintage chairs gave it such a warm, intimate vibe. A proper little hideaway.

Decent spot for a cheap bite. The food's tasty, and they've got a solid drinks list – loads of beers and spirits. Nothing fancy, but it's reliable.

Grabbed the spicy prawns for a quick lunch. Good kick to it, really hits the spot. Service was quick, got my order in no time. Perfect for when you're in a rush.

Been coming here for years. It's a proper local pub, always busy with families. Food's solid, the Sunday roast is a winner. Staff are friendly without being over the top. Just a good, reliable spot.

Quick bite sorted. Ordered takeout, curry and biryani were spot on. Staff even checked the spice level without me asking. 👍

Been coming here for years. The calamari is always spot on - never rubbery, just right. That's the main reason I keep coming back.

Nice little spot for fish and chips, but the portion felt a bit small for the price.

Been coming here for years. Their gluten-free menu is always reliable, especially the spicy chicken goujons.

The chicken tikka masala was spot on, and the peshwari naan was a perfect match for it. Ordered for a quiet night in. My only gripe? I wish I'd picked a better beer to go with it, something hoppy would have cut through the richness nicely. Still, top-tier takeaway.

Decent spot. Portions are generous, and the quality is consistent. Tried a few dishes, everything came out quickly even though the place was packed. A solid choice for a reliable meal.

Found this place tucked away and the food was spot on. Their lamb curry had real depth, and the sommelier suggested a bold red that cut through the richness perfectly. A bit on the pricier side for the portions, but the pairing made it worthwhile.

Lovely spot for a meal with our pup. The steak was cooked just right, and I really appreciated how fresh the side salad tasted. The greens were crisp and the tomatoes were ripe. A nice, simple touch that made the meal feel wholesome.
