The saffron risotto was spot on, creamy and rich. Ossobucco fell right off the bone too. Minestrone was a nice light start. Service was quick and friendly, which made it easy to just chill with friends for a while. Cozy little spot, felt very rustic. Only thing is it got a bit loud later, but we didn't really mind.

Came for dinner, the burger was properly juicy and the bun held up well. Staff knew when to step back, which I appreciate. Nice lake view from the table. My wine was a bit warm though, could've been kept cooler. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

Stopped by for a drink after wandering around Ascona—such a prime spot for people-watching. Cocktails were solid, nothing mind-blowing, but the vibe was right. Service was friendly and quick, even when it got busier later. Good place to kick off a night out with friends, for sure. Maybe not a destination itself, but it works.

Been coming here for a while now. The tasting menu still holds up—plating's always on point, flavors stay consistent. Service is attentive but never hovering. Solid spot if you're into that kind of dining.

The food was creative and nicely plated. Service felt genuinely warm, not rushed. Liked the little amuse-bouche they brought out.

Been coming here for a while now. Parking's easy and it's right by the marina, so it's my usual stop before heading out. The outdoor tables are a bit close to the street, but I always grab a spot inside. Food's been consistent every single time, which is honestly why I keep coming back.

The bison rib eye was really good, and the new owners made us feel welcome with the kids. The seating felt a bit cramped though, but the food made up for it.

Stopped by for lunch and the place has that warm, casual vibe. Portions are really generous, food came out looking fresh and neat. Sat near the window, chairs were comfy enough to linger a bit. Service was friendly without hovering. Nothing fancy, but it does the job for a relaxed meal.

Stopped in for a beer after a hike and the tapas turned out to be the real highlight. Friendly service too. Nice little find.

Stopped by for a drink after cycling — didn’t even order food, just peanuts. Service was quick, which I appreciated. The terrace is the real draw though. Comfortable seats, enough shade, and you can just sit there without feeling rushed. Good pit stop if you’re in the area and need a break. Nothing fancy, but it worked for what we needed.

We sat in the garden area, which was really pleasant. The owners came by to check on us, and they even brought water for our dog without us asking. That was a nice touch. Food was solid, nothing fancy but well prepared. Service felt genuine, not rushed. I’d come back for a relaxed lunch when I want things to be easy.

The linguine with shrimp was fresh and the red sauce had real flavor. Letizia and Daniela took care of us the whole night, super friendly. Great spot to come with friends, the view alone is worth it 🌊

The husband-and-wife team are so welcoming, it makes the whole vibe feel different. Had the spaghetti bolognese—fresh, rich sauce and a decent portion. Solid spot.

Popped in for a late lunch and grabbed a seat at the bar. The carbonara was solid—creamy without being heavy, and the portion was plenty. I had a glass of the house red with it, which worked better than I expected. It's tucked away from the main tourist drag, so it felt more like a local spot. Service was fine, nothing fancy, but I wasn't in a rush.

Came for the view, ended up enjoying the pasta more than expected. The aglio e olio was simple but done right, and the salad had a decent amount of toppings. Owner was friendly, made a joke or two. Pretty good spot if you're in the area. Just note it can get a bit busy around lunch.

The food here tastes properly homemade, you can tell they put effort into it. We tried a few dishes and everything was decent. Staff were friendly too, not overly chatty but warm enough. The room itself is pretty simple though, a bit cramped between tables. Fine for a quick meal, just don't expect a fancy setting.

This little spot in Como was such a nice change after Milan. The drinks are seriously strong, which I loved. Food's fresh and the price is right. Just a really solid, unpretentious place to unwind.

Tuna tartar, smoked salmon, pizza, wine - all was very good and fast. Albeit not a fashion restaurant but cosy and nice. Reserved a table and had no regret. Recommended

The staff were so friendly, which made the whole visit really pleasant. It's a quiet spot, perfect for a relaxed coffee. I appreciated not having to rush.

Tagliatelle with mushrooms was solid. Got it right before closing, still came out fast. Friendly service too. Good spot for a quick bite.

We went back for a second time because the ingredients were so fresh. Really appreciated the healthy options.

Been coming here for years. Their wine list is always solid, never a letdown. Picked up a bottle of the Montepulciano last week—just as good as I remembered. That's why I keep coming back.

Parking right outside is a huge plus. Service was quick and efficient even on a busy night. The staff were friendly and made the whole visit very relaxed.

The food at this restaurant is ok. If you know how american food is supposed to taste, sou will not be satisfied. We had burgers and spareribs that were simply not up to the american standard. Nonetheless the typical italian dishes like the beef tagliata were not bad at all. The service was impeccable and the waitresses were really nice to us non-italians. The athmosphere on the terrasse is really nice.

Been coming here for years. Their sandwiches are always spot on, the bread is fresh and the fillings are generous. That consistency keeps me coming back.

Nice spot in Varese. The vibe is elegant, really polished. Good for a chill catch-up. Music was soft in the background, not intrusive. Had a pleasant time just hanging out here.

Nice spot in the park for a quiet coffee. Had a latte and a sandwich. The sandwich was fine, but honestly, for €14 I expected a bit more filling. It felt a little light for the price.
