The Colney Fox

I often used the Fox as a staging post between Essex and Hampshire. Now I live in Cambridgeshire, it was a perfect stop on the way to Heathrow!We were a party of four; the atmosphere is still as lovely ; the food exceptional; the service warm and attentive.Each member of my family party enjoyed it greatly, sending my street cred soaring for my knowledge of good places to dine!It is a lovely place which I am greatly pleased to know!

Friendly welcome - got shown to our table immediately which was perfect - by the window..Great service throughout and the food was amazing.Very pleased and will definitely regurn.

The food was lovely and the staff were even lovelier! The only criticism I have is that the food was a bit cold. This said, I would happily return and try another meal in the future.

The food was excellent and nice and hot, the steak was cooked just right and the other meals were very good. The staff made us feel welcome and kept checking that everything was to our satisfaction. Will definitely go again.

Excellent food and service. Very good value for money. Friendly staff, easy parking, easy booking. Tables not jammed together. Plenty of room.
