Been coming here for lunch for ages. The thali and wrap are always spot on, and the service is consistently quick and friendly, even when it&#39;s quiet. That&#39;s what keeps me coming back.

We&#39;ve been coming here for years, and it&#39;s the staff that keep us coming back. They&#39;re always so friendly and attentive. My table was ready exactly when I booked it, and they remembered I prefer a booth. Just makes everything so much easier.

The lamb shank was the star. Slow-cooked for hours, the meat just fell off the bone. Rich, deep flavour in the gravy, and the mash was smooth. Could have used a bit more seasoning on the meat itself, but that&#39;s a small thing. Really hit the spot.

The cheese omelette was spot on, generous and perfectly cooked.

Once we got seated, the 2 men who looked after us and served us were brilliant, we could not fault the service or the food.We are Afternoon Tea fans, and were at the Cafe Royal 2 weeks ago for my Wife&#39;s Birthday and did not know what to expect from Savoury Afternoon Tea at Harry Ramsdens in Bournemouth, something different, but it was great, so good we have purchased another voucher.

The restaurant was Christmassy and the waitress went out of her way to be helpful particularly as I have a food allergy.  The ambience was lovely and the food really nice.  All in all a lovely lunch!

The fish pie was absolutely packed with flavour, really generous portion too. Just found the mash topping a bit too thick for my liking, but still a solid dish.

The homemade cakes and scones were lovely. I really appreciated how fresh everything tasted, you could tell the ingredients were good quality. The scone in particular was so light. A nice spot for a treat.
