The sausage in the full English was the star. You could tell it was from a proper butcher. Generous portions for the price, too. A solid breakfast spot on Market Jew Street.

The team here is just lovely. They're genuinely warm and attentive, which makes such a difference. It feels like they actually want you to have a nice time.

Sharon's the loveliest host. The cakes are just unreal – proper homemade stuff, always something new. That's what keeps me coming back. Best lunch spot around here, hands down.

The dhal soup was really tasty and warming on a breezy day. The seats were comfortable too, which made the meal nice and relaxing.

The blankets and heaters outside are such a nice touch for a chilly evening with friends. Makes it easy to stay and chat.

The flat white was served hot, and I appreciated the little biscuit on the side. The coffee itself was really good.

The sausage rolls were a highlight of our order. Really appreciated how fresh they tasted, you could tell the pastry was just made. The filling had a nice balance of herbs too.

My local spot for a proper coffee. The flat white was spot on, and they had a great selection of Cornish pastries to go with it. A bit of a queue on Saturday mornings, but that's just a sign they're doing things right.

Stopped for coffee, stayed for lunch. The sandwich was lovely, and the staff were so friendly.

Quick dinner after work. The starter and main were spot on. Service was fast and friendly, which is all I need on a weeknight. Good spot for a quick bite.

First time here. The sausage, egg and bacon bap was pretty good, the meat tasted decent. Tea came in a nice big pot. The young lady serving was very pleasant. A solid spot for a quick bite.

The sweet potato rosti with avocado was really good. I liked the outdoor area, it's a nice sunny spot for a casual lunch. The wooden benches are comfortable and the space feels quite open.

Napkins aren't left on the table, which is a bit of a shame. I do appreciate that they bring fresh ones when asked, though.

Popped in for a pint. Their own-brewed pale ale was really solid, crisp and not too bitter. The taproom itself is pretty relaxed, though it does get busy with groups later on.

The staff were lovely, gave a really warm welcome. Service was spot on - attentive but not hovering. The wine list had some interesting local options, which was a nice touch. Made for a relaxed evening.

This is my go-to spot to catch up with friends. The carrot cake is always spot on, and the coffee is strong enough to keep the chat going for hours. A really nice, bright space to just hang out.

A decent spot for a traditional afternoon tea. The building itself is quite charming, and the table service was fine. The location is very central, which is convenient. The scones were pretty good, though the clotted cream could have been a bit more generous.

Been coming here for years, and the gluten-free menu is the real deal. They’ve always got separate options, and the staff actually know their stuff. Makes it easy to relax with a coffee by the water without having to explain everything.

I've made this my regular morning stop. The coffee is consistently good, and they're always friendly, even at the busiest times. I do wish they offered a more interesting rotating single-origin option to pair with a pastry, though.

Lovely spot for a cream tea after a coastal walk. The scones were fresh and the setting is peaceful.

The hake with leeks and mussels was just lovely. Simple, but cooked so well. The crab and fennel salad was fresh too. The service was friendly and the whole meal felt really relaxed. A very comfortable spot.

Came for the Sunday roast and it was really nice. The room itself was clean and had a nice vibe, which I liked. The shower was a proper treat after a long walk!

The cocktails were a real treat, especially the one with that subtle lavender note. The wine list felt well-priced, which was a nice surprise. They paired with the food just right.

Stopped in after the ferry. The couple running the place are lovely. Portions are huge! I had the full breakfast – the sausages were proper, and the black pudding was spot on. A bit of a wait for the food, but it was clearly cooked fresh.

Loved the vibe in this old industrial space under the Viaduct. It's got a really cozy, laid-back feel that makes it easy to just unwind. The decor is spot on for the setting.

Love that they're so welcoming to dogs. My pup got a little water bowl and a treat, which was a nice touch. Makes it stress-free to pop in. Parking was easy to find nearby, too.

The English breakfast was fine, but the coffee really stood out. Their house blend paired nicely with the hogs pudding.
