The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. It was a calm spot to unwind after a long trip.

The steak and ale pie was the standout. Rich, dark gravy, tender beef that fell apart, and a proper flaky pastry top. The mash was creamy, not lumpy. That's the kind of pub food you come back for.

The kitchen did a decent job getting all our food out hot for a large group.

Donna and her team were so welcoming. The fish was incredibly fresh, and that sea view table was a lovely touch.

Nice spot by the water. Walked in, they took my number and called when a table was ready. The grilled fish was good, really liked the homemade tartar sauce with it. Simple lunch, no fuss.

Good location on the High Street, close to everything. The included breakfast is a real plus - fresh croissants and decent coffee. The building itself is quite traditional, not modern. Suited my needs for a short business stay.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, plus they welcome dogs. Good spot for a drink after a walk.

The staff were really helpful when I asked to tweak my order. Food came out piping hot, and the price was fair.

Reliable spot. Food's decent, prices are fair. Staff are friendly, place is always spotlessly clean. Just a solid, no-fuss meal.

A nice spot that welcomes dogs, which is a plus. We had the fish and chips, decent portion for the price. The vibe was relaxed, good for a casual meal. Just a bit pricey on the drinks.

Been coming here for years, mostly for breakfast. The place is always spotless, which I really appreciate. Staff are consistently polite, even when they're busy. It's just a reliable spot, especially if you're staying in the area.

The liver and moussaka were spot on—really hot, looked lovely on the plate. That lemon sorbet with the limoncello shot though, that was the best bit. Just a lovely, simple finish.

Been coming here for years. Sam always remembers my usual drink, which is a nice touch. Service feels personal, not just going through the motions. That's what keeps me coming back.

Booked for a baby shower. The afternoon tea tier was lovely, really nicely arranged. Staff were helpful, even boxed up the extra scones and sandwiches for us to take home. Made it easy.

Themed afternoon tea was a hit. My kid loved the entertainment. Food was good, she hasn't stopped talking about it since.

Popped in for a quick lunch. The club sandwich was decent, nothing fancy, but the portion was huge. Couldn't finish it all. For the price, you definitely get your money's worth. Good spot if you're hungry.

Jess and Dom were so lovely and chatty, really made our group feel at home. They remembered our drink orders from last time! Service was a bit slow when it got busy, but they were so nice about it.

The set menu is such a steal! The French onion soup was so rich and the duck liver parfait portion was huge. Perfect for sharing with a friend before a night out.

The Reuben is the one to get here. Properly messy, the corned beef is stacked high and the sauerkraut has that sharp tang. Swiss cheese melted right through. It’s a big sandwich, fills you up. Solid choice.

Had a pleasant meal here. The food was fresh and well-seasoned, cooked just right. Staff were very welcoming, which made for a relaxed evening. A solid choice for a quiet dinner.

Came here for a quiet lunch and a read. The modern, cozy vibe was just right for that. Staff were really friendly, which made it a nice, relaxed stop.

Colourful little spot down on the lower promenade. Really laid-back. The vegan bacon breakfast sandwich was the standout, with those crispy hash browns. Coffee's just right, too.

Been going here for years. It’s my local go-to. Food’s always solid and comes out quick. Just a 10-minute walk from the station, which is handy. Never had a bad meal.

Been coming here for years, mostly after work. It’s the late-night hours that keep me coming back. You can get proper chicken karahi or a solid biryani when everywhere else is shut. A reliable spot for that specific craving.

Lovely, bright space. The chorizo sausage rolls were the star of the show - perfect for sharing with a friend over a long catch-up. Service was really warm, which just added to the relaxed vibe.

The service was very pleasant and attentive, which made for a nice, relaxed meal. The staff were genuinely friendly without being overbearing. A good spot for a quiet dinner.

Been a few times now. The staff are always friendly and attentive, makes you feel comfortable. Good spot for a relaxed meal.

A really pleasant experience. Food good. Service was exceptional . We were very well cared for waiter was very charming and attentive . We will return.

Cool spot with a modern vibe. Grabbed a table outside with a couple mates, was nice to just chill. The outdoor seating is decent, good for hanging out.
