I am new to the area and went here for an anniversary meal. Partner had chicken ndjua and I had crispy duck salad. Food was amazing, ambience nice, I'll return

Been coming here for years. The staff always remembers you, and they're genuinely friendly without being over the top. Makes a big difference.

Chips were piping hot and crispy. They soaked up all the meat juices and gravy from my plate. That was the best part of the meal for me.

Been coming here for years, and the service is always spot on. Even just popping in for a cuppa and a slice of cake feels like a proper treat.

Perfect for sharing with friends. We ordered a bunch of small plates - the hazelnut harissa and the tamarind cod were my favourites. Everything came out quick, which was great for a hungry group. Flavours were bold, no complaints.

The atmosphere at TN1 is fantastic, with a modern and quirky design that creates a lovely vibe. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family.

Came across this spot for breakfast. Food was spot on, arrived piping hot. The coffee hit the mark. A solid find for a quiet morning bite.

The breakfast buffet is a real highlight. I really appreciate how fresh everything is – the chefs are constantly bringing out new platters. The fruit selection was particularly good, very ripe and colourful. It felt like a healthy start to the day.

Popped in for brunch, the food was spot on. Had the smashed avo on sourdough, really fresh. The place has a nice relaxed vibe too. Might swing by again to check out their dinner menu.

Such a cute spot for a catch-up with the girls! The whole place is this gorgeous shade of pink, so stylish. We spent ages just taking photos. The vibe is really warm and cosy. Just a lovely place to hang out.

Been coming here for years, and the lamb biryani is the reason. It's always fragrant and just the right kind of comforting. Never had a bad one. Jess is great too, always remembers we like extra raita on the side.

Lovely family-run Italian spot. The focaccia sandwich was fresh, with really good quality ingredients. The date cake was homemade and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. A nice, simple lunch.

Stumbled across this spot right by the Excel. The lamb doner wrap was fresh and solid. My wife enjoyed her curry. What really stood out was the wine list - a surprisingly good Malbec by the glass that paired nicely with the lamb. Decent value too.

Love the vibe here. It’s so cozy and lived-in, with all these little trinkets from around the world. Felt like hanging out in a friend’s quirky living room.

The lamb and beef patties were spot on, with a lovely flaky crust. A bit pricey at £3 each, but the house red was a solid pairing.

The quiche is what I keep coming back for. It's always fresh and tastes incredible. Been a fan for years.

The vegan fry-up is a solid choice for brunch with friends. Not greasy at all, which is a win. Staff were really lovely and helped us sort out a table for our group. A nice spot for a catch-up.

I had an amazing experience at this pub, with a lively atmosphere and attentive service. The food was delicious, and I can't wait to return!

The panini was the standout. Really good quality cured meats and the bread was fresh and crisp. Cannoli was decent, coffee did the job. All for under a tenner, which is a proper bargain these days.

A decent spot near London Bridge Station. Booked a booth for a chat with a friend, it was comfortable and quiet enough. The food was fine, nothing spectacular. Good for a casual catch-up.

The private room was perfect for our group. What really stood out was the staff's attentiveness - they were so considerate without being intrusive. Made the evening flow beautifully.

A solid spot for a classic fry-up. The English breakfast was pretty good - nicely cooked bacon and eggs. Service was quick and friendly. The fruit pancakes were decent too, a nice sweet option. A reliable choice for a casual bite.

Open 24 hours, two floors, and a nice view of the park. Great spot to hang out with friends late into the night.

Busy French spot, good for a quick glass of wine outside. Service was efficient, which I appreciate.

Been going here for years, it's a proper local. Staff know your name, and the prices haven't gone mad like other places. Live music on Fridays is a nice touch, keeps the place lively.

It was my Grandson's First Birthday - we had been eating sausage Rolls and sandwiches all day but by the evening needed a proper meal !! We read reviews and it sounded good so we gave it a try. We are not local so it was our first time. We have been to various carveries before but I have to say your food was the best I had eaten at this type of Restaurant. All the meat was tender and moist and the roast potatoes in beef fat were the best ever. In fact all the vegetables were lovely. we agreed that on our next visit to Southend we would take my daughter, her husband and our Grandson for a treat. The atmosphere was cosy and the staff were all friendly and helpful. In particular our waitress Mandy was really friendly and funny. It really made a difference to our visit. we will recommend and be back next time we are in the area.

Just popped in for a quick drink with a friend. Ordered on the app and it was at our table in minutes. Perfect for a spontaneous catch-up when you don't want a whole meal. The vibe was nice and relaxed.

The small fish and chips were fresh and not greasy at all. Nice to see a senior option that doesn't compromise on quality ingredients.
