Rooftop 25 Bar and Lounge

The freshly baked Pipa duck has firm and elastic meat and crispy skin. It is really different when it is freshly baked. It is delicious! It is better to come early than to come at the right time. Old shops are all treasures. How can a restaurant that has been open for more than 30 years not be delicious?

2025  Asia 100 - Local Restaurants

We were staying upstairs at THERED, and this was our last meal before leaving. We&#39;d previously eaten at a Malay place, but perhaps the fried and spicy food wasn&#39;t to my Chinese palate, so this place was pretty good. It was a little after noon, and after a short wait, we were there. The two meals cost around 50 RMB via Alipay. The last three pictures are from a restaurant with a lot of Malays (around 80 RMB). I wasn&#39;t used to the food, but there were still a lot of locals. A Cantonese friend who couldn&#39;t even handle Cantonese spicy food was passing by, haha.

The hotel is a small but beautiful hotel with few rooms, but it pays attention to details. The rooms are clean, the restaurant is also very clean, and the fish is very tasty. A small hot pot and fruit are also given upon check-in. ​​​

The &quot;Hokkaido&quot; might be misleading, but the quality of the seafood is no joke.  What to order:- Butter prawns &ndash; Crispy, aromatic, and packed with flavor  - Steamed fish &ndash; Market-fresh, cooked just right with soy and ginger  - Kam heong crab &ndash; A Malaysian classic, fragrant with curry leaves and spices  - Stir-fried clams &ndash; Wok-fried to perfection with a spicy kick  The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, especially given the freshness of the ingredients. Service is typical of a coffee shop&mdash;fast and no-nonsense. The setting is basic (plastic chairs, fluorescent lighting), but that just adds to the authentic local experience.  Perfect for:- Casual seafood cravings  - Late-night suppers (they stay open late)  - Groups who want to share multiple dishes  Rating: 4/5 &ndash; Don&rsquo;t expect fancy plating or ambiance, but if you&rsquo;re after fresh, well-cooked Chinese-style seafood at fair prices, this place hits the spot.
