The ribeye for two was properly done, nice sear on it. Outdoor tables give you a straight view of the castle and canal. Staff handled our English orders without any fuss.

Falafel was solid — crispy outside, soft inside. Portion size surprised me, plenty for the price. Place was a bit busy but whatever. Good spot if you're nearby and hungry.

Came here on a weekday evening and the place had that relaxed, slightly industrial feel. Good spot to just sit at the bar with a beer. Ramen was decent, maybe not the absolute best but solid for the area. It did get pretty full later, but we managed to grab a table without waiting too long.

Cozy spot with a decent beer list. The food was solid pub fare, nothing fancy but hit the spot. Got a bit loud when the match started, but that's kind of the vibe here. Fine for a casual evening if you're not in a rush.

The gelato here is what brings me back—decent scoop for the price, not the biggest but fair. Nice little stop on a sunny afternoon.

Coffee was decent, quick stop before my train. Staff friendly enough but seemed more into chatting with each other than paying attention. Fine for a fast breakfast, nothing more. The space felt a bit impersonal, but I wasn't expecting much from a station spot.

Came here for a match and ended up staying longer than planned. Plenty of screens, good buzz. I had a beer that paired well with the wings—nothing fancy, but it worked. Service was friendly enough, though it got a bit hectic later. Solid spot if you're into sports and don't mind the noise.

When we arrived, we were surprised to find that there were no tables available for us inside, despite us having made the booking a month and half prior to the date. We were offered a table outside which turned out to be quite cozy with the heaters on. This, despite that fact that it was February. The toilet had no paper towels and the soap was running on empty. We had the Madras Express (one beef, one chicken) and were very pleased with the flavor and spiciness. Menu prices are very reasonable. The menu is a bit limited, however – especially when it comes to desserts. We ended up having our dessert elsewhere. We have been to V. E. D. before and it was an enjoyable experience.
