TheForkUserWhat an amazing experience ! The restaurant is well decorated, people are very nice, everything is so tasty and the cocktails are incredible !! Many thanks for this special evening at your place ! We’ll come back for sure
TheForkUserGreat decor, very intimate setting in a backyard style garden. Classic traditional food cooked very well. Everything you would expect from a Trattoria, with style.
TheForkUserWe like it here, the food is always authentic Italian, Very nice place to eat, never had a bad meal, and the owner always remembers his customers… from the outside you wouldn’t think it is as big as it is! We will go back a few times before returning back to UK , but we will always be back here…
TheForkUserAll was amazing. Lovely staff and impeccable food. The place is just magical.
TheForkUserabsolutely amazing location, very nice castle, shame we couldn't visit it upstairs,we eat outside lovely food ,surely we will come back again
TheForkUserWe went there on the New Year’s Eve. Dishes were good and portion was very big. (Actually it was too big for me, Maybe it was because of special Menü. )People were also nice, friendly, and supportive. I liked this restaurant so much.
TheForkUserGreat service, awesome food with good ambiance! The fish and chips were amazing the hot wings were very delicious! Thanks for a great experience!
TheForkUserQuaint little wine bar on a side street near Piazza Sant'Oronzo. Proprietor and staff very friendly and attentive. Warm, comfortable and close seating area that encourages conversation with fellow guests. enjoyed a small (singolo) taglire misto which was plenty for two to enjoy for antipasto. we were going to go elsewhere for dinner but after the meat and cheese decided that we weren't all that hungry still and instead ordered appetizers of fave e cicoria and melanzane parmigiana. In particular the parmigiana was excellent with a beautiful homemade tomato sauce. Overall a very nice experience.
TheForkUserThe food & service were excellent! Our only complaint was that the music was very loud and strange - loud enough to make conversation difficult and odd enough to have the music selection be the topic we were trying to discuss.
TheForkUserA small restaurant in the centre of town. From the very start we felt welcomed by all the staff. Courteous friendly and helpful. The selection on the menu was varied and all appealed. When we indicated that we intended sharing certain dishes it was no problem. The ingredients are of high quality and all freshly cooked. This is Italian regional cooking at its best. Portions are generous without being excessive. Highlights were an appetiser based on asparagus with a yellow tomato sauce, delicious, thank heavens for bread to wipe the plate clean and not waste anything. The pasta with prawns and asparagus also excellent and would order again. . We shared a main based on sucking pig also excellent and perfectly cooked. Sadly too full for desert. We will probably return again even though only staying in the area for 4 nights. Thank you for an excellent enjoyable meal in your delightful restaurant.
TheForkUserFood was excellent! Service was as well, considering the large tour groups to be accommodated. Made for a somewhat noisy meal.
TheForkUserApart from the fact that the entry level of wine was €25 (great wine though) we had a lovely dinner with absolutely delicious food. (Christmas decorations could go down after Easter, but that's just a touch to be picky). Also the surroundings are magical. Must visit!
TheForkUserStunning view and atmosphere. Management had issues with overbooked restaurant but managed the situation highly professional with exemplary service orientation!
TheForkUserThis is the best seafood restaurant I have visited in years - tasting menu was superb and the wine pairs were very well consider - finally the desert finished me off - awesome
TheForkUserThe food was good, but we especially liked the atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The menu is also available in English. We booked through The Fork with a discount, but also without it you'd definitely get value for your money. We only spent 2 days in Taranto, but otherwise we would definitely have been back.
TheForkUserPeaceful location. Service is good very attentive. Food tastes amazing! There were some ants, but that is what you get for a dinner in the fields. We didn’t mind.
TheForkUserOne of my best meals in Julia. Don’t even hesitate to make a reservation here. The chef starts by walking around to greet the entire restaurant and tries to make a connection with every table. The menu can be a tasting if you’d like, but I opted for the à la carte choose your own adventure style. especially since I don’t like desserts, I thought this was a much better value around €20 per dish. Every dish was a stand out. I particularly loved the sea urchin and mussel caccio e pepe. The kitchen uses local and seasonal ingredients and has beautiful presentation. The service was always on point, I never felt neglected or othered because I was a tourist. There was a good mix of Italians and English speaking tables. You do have to budget about three hours for the entire meal, as there’s plenty of time in between courses to digest. But, overall, if you’re looking for a really great meal to understand how food from this region can be upscaled and elevated, you must try eating at Duo. Grazie!
_TI***dpI had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The seafood salad was fresh and well-seasoned, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. A great spot for a relaxing lunch.
TheForkUserThis was a new experience for us. The staff was very ready to explain how one could either pick their fish and method of cooking or one could choose something for their ready menu. The food was delicious. An amuse bouche of fried anchovies was light and tasty. We chose some fried sardines as an appetizer. Our dishes were orecchiette with octopus and pasta with mussels, ( already out of their shells) Very good. The restaurant is very pleasant. I would categorize it as casual, white tablecloth. Would definitely return.
TheForkUserThis restaurant was just outside the city walls so felt more like a lovely neighbourhood restaurant than a touristy one. The staff were lovely, strong English and explained various dishes on a menu that was varied and more inventive than alot of the restaurants we have been to in the old city. The food was superb, reasonably priced and special mention to the lemon and raspberry tirimisu....delicious!
TheForkUserDeliciously interesting food offered in a perfectly situated spot in Nardò’s main square in its historic center. The staff and kitchen were very accommodating of my dietary needs, gluten free, dairy free, and allergic to crustaceans. Yikes! At first glance, their menu did not seem as if it would work for me, however our server quickly sorted out some slight alterations to a few dishes that worked out perfectly for me. Very happy and would happily return again should we ever find ourselves in Nardó again. Grazie Rintocco!
TheForkUserThey were superb. The food was very good and the service was excellent. They took care of us to the detail. They were friendly, generous, and caring. We enjoyed our time.
TheForkUserWe had a wonderful meal tonight. Started with Capres salad. Then we shared the swordfish and linguine with seafood. All delicious. Seafood is extremely fresh and well prepared. Great meal and great wine.
