The team here are just so nice. We were a big group and they didn't mind our fussy orders at all, really patient. Made it easy to just relax and chat.

Service was really on point even when they were packed. Staff were lovely, got our order in quick and food came out fast. No complaints there.

The coffee is reliably hot and well-made. Even when they were out of sugar, the staff handled it well and the latte was still good.

Poached eggs were spot on, and the mango iced tea was refreshing. It's a cosy little spot, so service isn't the quickest when they're busy. They do have extra seating next door though, which helps.

Been coming here for years. Tried the quesadilla this time, on a server's tip. Much better than it used to be, flavours were spot on. Place is always tidy.

Been coming here for years. The outdoor seating in the square is just lovely on a sunny day, always feels like a little escape.

Great spot for a quick bite with colleagues. The sharing platter was the star, loads to pick from. Service was fast and friendly. Got in and out in under an hour, perfect for a midweek catch-up.

Spotlessly clean, which I really appreciate. The wash basin is a thoughtful touch for eating with your hands.

The cod and prawn linguine was really creamy, just the right amount. The prawns were plump and fresh. Menu's got a fair few options, but I was happy sticking with this one.

Been a few times now, it's a solid spot. The lasagne is my usual order, never lets me down. Staff are really friendly and helpful, makes it easy to relax.

I was curious about the guest chef menu. The ingredients were so fresh, you could really taste the difference. It's nice when a place keeps that level of quality, even with a changing menu. The fish dish was a highlight for me.

The Sunday roast is a real treat here. The pork belly was cooked just right, and the portions are very generous. What I really appreciated was how comfortable the booths were – made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.

Nice spot with a good selection of beers. The staff are always so pleasant and quick, even when it's packed.

Had the Sunday roast here. Yorkshire pudding was good, they brought extra gravy promptly when I asked. Decent portion for the price. Felt like a proper local spot.

Bottomless brunch was a solid deal. The 90 minutes flew by, we got through a good few drinks. Service was on point, never had to wait for a top-up.

The old bank building is gorgeous. High ceilings, elegant details. I just sat there for ages soaking it all in. A lovely place to be.

The vegan options were impressive, and while the garlic bread was a highlight, I hope to see more vegan desserts on the menu in the future.

The attitude of the staff, all most helpful and amenable to someone suffering with mobility problems.Always enjoy my visits to Toby, Chaddesden.

Flat white's the real deal here. Strong, smooth, and honestly a steal for the price. Quick service too. My go-to spot now.

The staff were so helpful with my dietary needs. I asked about dairy-free options and they checked everything thoroughly, even suggesting a couple of modifications. It felt really considerate and took the stress out of ordering.
