The coffee was solid and the space itself is really well designed — lots of natural light and enough outlets to actually get stuff done. Only downside: those wooden benches are pretty high, not the most comfortable for sitting long. But for a quick work session it works fine.

The bitterballen were decent, but honestly the stew portion felt a bit small for what you pay. Cozy place though, and the staff helped us figure out the Dutch menu.

Solid food for the price, and their craft beer selection pairs well with the burgers. The monthly tastings are a nice touch.

Decent spot with a nice buzz. Food was fresh and well-prepared, service friendly without hovering. Pretty good for a casual night out.

The salmon club sandwich was solid, veggie pancakes decent too. Cozy little spot in Alkmaar, worth stopping by if you're nearby.

The masala chai was properly spiced, hit the spot on a cold day. Sat outside by the water, nice spot. Service was a bit slow but no big deal.

The sushi was really fresh, and the rolls had some creative twists I haven't seen elsewhere in Amsterdam. Glad I gave it a shot.

The cappuccino was solid and the price is fair for what you get. Fresh ingredients, decent portion sizes. My friend's chocolate milk looked even better than my coffee though.

The pancakes here are cooked in a cast iron pan, and honestly you can taste it. Slightly crispy edges, soft middle. I had the one with berries, felt fresh. Music was low, interior cozy. A decent spot if you want a slow morning. Maybe a bit pricey for what you get, but I didn't mind.

The Greek salad was fantastic, fresh and tangy. Burgers were good too, though a bit pricey for what you get.

Stopped by for a coffee and a sandwich the other day. Baked goods looked decent too. Coffee was solid, no complaints. Handy spot if you're in the area and need something quick. Not gonna blow your mind, but it does the job. Prices are fair for what you get.

Went with a bigger group, 14 of us, and honestly everyone found something they liked. Food was solid, no complaints there. Service kept up pretty well considering how many we were. Place got a bit loud but that’s on us I guess. Wouldn’t mind coming back for a quieter dinner though.

The burger was really good—juicy, well-seasoned, and the bun held up nicely. I appreciated that they didn't overload it with sauce. Service was friendly too, though I did have to wait a bit longer than expected for the check. Would come back for that burger alone.

Food was solid and the staff were nice. Portions felt fair for what you pay. Nothing fancy but I'd stop by again if I'm in the area.

We went for the monthly menu, and honestly, it’s good value for what you get. Dishes were put together well, nothing overly fancy but solid. Staff was friendly enough, didn’t have to wait too long. It’s the kind of place you can pop into for a proper dinner without spending a fortune. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

Nice pint of Guinness and the stone cellar seating is proper cosy. Staff were sound about my mate's food allergy. Decent spot for a relaxed one.

Been coming here for a while now. The pistachio is still the one I keep going back to. Prices are fair for the neighbourhood, service is quick enough. Solid spot.

Best burger in Amsterdam - and tap your own beer on some tables! Try the Smash burger - its a classic take on your childhood favourite cheeseburger.

The cafe’s got this bright, airy vibe with high ceilings and tons of natural light. Espresso was solid, though it came out pretty hot — had to wait a bit before sipping. Still, nice spot to just sit and watch the street for a while.

Despite a bit of a wait, the food was worth it! The service was pleasant, and the overall experience was enjoyable.

The breakfast plate was pretty big for what you pay. Avocado and poached eggs were done right. Only thing, the bread wasn't toasted, kinda soft. Still, decent spot for a quick bite.

The cinnamon buns here are seriously good. Soft, not too sweet, and they actually taste like the ones I used to get back in Denmark. I grabbed one to go and ended up finishing it before I even left the parking lot. Wish they were a bit bigger for the price, but honestly, I'll be back for another one.

Right on the shopping street, easy to pop in for a quick break. Seating's a bit tight but fine for a rest.

Stopped here for lunch before catching the boat. Location is super handy, right between the station and the docks. Service was friendly and easygoing, no fuss. Sat near the window, plenty of room. Food came out quick enough. Nothing fancy, but it did the job for a relaxed bite. 👍

The salmon carpaccio with burrata was pretty good, and the scallop ravioli in lobster cream sauce was decent too. Carbonara came close to what I've had in Italy. Place was busy for a Tuesday, so it got a bit loud. Fine for a casual dinner in Haarlem, though.

Came here for a quick coffee and ended up staying way longer than planned. Perfect people-watching spot, honestly. My daughter got a hot chocolate and she was super happy with it. Service was fast too, which I didn't expect for a busy afternoon. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

This restaurant offers a fantastic high tea experience with delicious options, and they are very accommodating for dietary restrictions. Highly recommended!

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Got the mixed grill plate, meat was juicy and had that proper charred taste. Portion size was decent for the price. Place was busy but I got my food fast, which is all I really care about. Staff didn't hover, just let me eat. Solid spot if you're in the area and hungry.

The apple pie at this place on Kalverstraat is solid. Warm, cinnamon-heavy, not too sweet. Red velvet cake was decent too. Sausage rolls actually surprised me, better than most I've had back home. Didn't care much about the cozy vibe or anything else, just ate and left.
