Came here for a quick lunch and honestly it hit the spot. Nothing fancy, just simple food done right. The staff were really friendly too, even when it got busy. Had the daily special and it was solid for the price. Wouldn't mind going back if I'm in the area again.

Stopped by for breakfast and grabbed a sourdough sandwich—really good, fresh bread. Service was quick, no waiting around. Nice spot if you're in Utrecht and want something easy. Maybe a bit busy around late morning, but that's fine.

Stumbled into this coffee bar in the center. Flat white was proper smooth, cake tasted like it was made this morning. Sat by the window, watched people go by. Place is small but that's fine. Just a solid spot to chill for a bit.

The vegan chicken bagel was decent, filling enough for a quick bite. Golden kokos latte was rich, almost too sweet for my taste. Place was fine, nothing fancy. Probably good if you're in the area and want something fast. Not sure I'd go out of my way for it though.

Been coming here for years. Breakfast menu hasn't changed much, which is fine by me—it's solid. Coffee's always good, staff remembers regulars. Place gets busy on weekends, but that's expected. Not fancy, just dependable.

Cozy little place in Hoofddorp centrum. Coffee was solid, staff friendly. The warm vibe got me though—could sit there all afternoon.

Tons of veggie choices and the coffee was solid. Staff seemed nice too. Place felt pretty open, not cramped like most spots.

The sushi rolls were solid, good flavor and fresh fish. Staff handled the order fine, no complaints there. Just note they only take Maestro cards, no other payment options. That caught me off guard since I rarely carry that card anymore. Had to run out for cash. Decent spot if you're prepared for that quirk.

High tea was solid — good mix of sweet and savoury, and they didn't rush us. Staff actually took time to explain each plate. Nice spot for a lazy afternoon.

Stumbled on this place and the crêpes were honestly the highlight. Mine came out warm, crispy at the edges, just the right amount of filling. Coffee had a little homemade touch too, which I didn’t expect. Service was friendly, though it got a bit busy later. Would go back for that crêpe alone.

When we arrived at the restaurant they did not have our reservation (which we made via the fork). Although it was a busy evening they found us a table and served us an amazing dinner. Highly recommend the food & the drinks. Priced fairly and service is very fast and attentive.

Stopped by for a coffee and that citrus cream croissant. Place was packed, had to wait a bit for a seat. Pastry was really good though, flaky and the cream was just right. Staff managed to stay friendly even with the rush. I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

The tasting menu here really surprised me — the chef clearly knows what they're doing. Service was attentive without hovering. Only downside: it's a bit pricey for what you get, but I'd still come back for a treat.

Café Americain offers a beautiful Art Deco interior that is truly a feast for the eyes. It's a great spot for enjoying a drink or a meal while soaking in the historic ambiance.

Came back three days in a row after the first breakfast here. Eggs benedict was spot on and coffee did the job. Would be perfect for a catch-up with friends. ☕

Cinnamon bun was solid, coffee decent. Ham & cheese toast came out fresh too. Fine spot for a quick breakfast in Utrecht, nothing fancy.

The coffee here is roasted in-house, which I really appreciate. Cozy little place with old grinders and plantation photos on the walls. Nice spot if you're into that kind of thing.
