The chicken doner was properly seasoned and the bread was still soft. Sandwich hit the spot without being greasy. Would grab one again if I'm in the area.

Came here for a quick dinner and honestly the house red was decent for the price. Portion sizes are fair too, I left full without feeling ripped off. Staff didn't hover but were friendly when we needed them. Solid spot if you're in the area and want something easy.

Pizza’s still spot on every time I visit. Owner remembers regulars, that’s why I keep coming back.

Service was the standout—one staff member really went out of their way. Food decent, nothing crazy. Fine for a quick stop if you're in the area.

The chicken basket was really good—crispy and well-seasoned, and that sweet chili dip made it even better. We sat on the street side, which had a nice casual vibe. Only downside was the wait, took a bit longer than expected. But honestly, the food made up for it. I’d come back if I’m in the area again.

Cozy spot, fireplace and open kitchen give it a nice feel. Drinks were solid, service just lagged a bit when busy.

Great portions for the price, food was solid. Place was packed when we went, so it's a bit loud but that's part of the vibe. Just don't expect much English here 😅

The apple pie was unreal, seriously the best I’ve had. Cozy spot to rest after walking the canals. Service felt a bit cold, but the pie alone makes it worth stopping in.

Stopped by for a few drinks and the vibe was solid. Place was buzzing, decent mix of locals. Bartender kept up fine even when it got packed. Didn't eat, but the drinks did the job. Good spot if you're in the area and want something low-key but lively.

The steak was cooked properly, tender and seasoned well. Got the jacket potato with garlic butter on the side, that was decent too. But honestly, for what you pay, the portion felt a bit small. I left still thinking about whether it was worth it. Maybe I'd come back for lunch instead of dinner, see if the price matches better then.

Been coming here for a while now. The classic white wine mussels pot is still my go-to, never disappoints. Had the gin tonic too, pretty solid. Sat outside even though it was a bit chilly, they got those blankets so it was fine. Just a reliable spot when I want mussels without any fuss.

The staff actually paid attention when I said I had dietary restrictions. Didn't make me feel awkward about it either. They checked ingredients and adjusted things without making a big fuss. Food came out properly prepared, no cross-contamination worries. That kind of care is pretty rare in my experience. Solid spot if you need that extra attention. 👍

The apple pie here is seriously good, you can tell it’s baked in-house. Stopped by for a late breakfast and it hit the spot. Nothing fancy, just solid Dutch food done right.

The pistachio croissant was actually really good—flaky and not too sweet. Coffee reminded me of a Paris café. Staff spoke perfect English too, which helped.

Food was solid and portions fair for the price. Place looks better in real life than on photos. Menu's a bit limited though.

The dessert was fabulous. Especially enjoyed the lemon sorbet with liquor43. Would definitely visit again for just the desserts. The staff and people were quite friendly.

The cherry beer and kroket are still solid after all these visits. Cozy spot, never disappoints.

Very nice French fare, in a gem of a location on the canal in Utrecht. The pace of service was just right, and a good evening out. One item that they need to get taken care of is the electronic payment system. Not working for any credit card or even debit card that is backed by visa, and had to have enough cash to pay the bill or walk to an ATM a half mile away. Other than this payment mishap, the restaurant is a treasure.

The pistachio ice cream was really creamy and tasty. Portions felt generous for the price. A couple of flavors were sold out, but I left happy.

The church-themed decor really sets it apart. Meat was cooked properly, dessert rounded it off nicely. Bill felt fair for what you get.

Cozy little place tucked away from the crowds. Wine list was solid and the menu had some interesting picks. You can tell they actually care about what they're doing.

The staff were really sweet—one even popped next door to grab me a buttermilk when they didn’t have it. Small gesture, but it made the visit feel personal.

The mixed grill for two was solid. Lamb skewers had a good char, beef was juicy. House red went well with it. Price was fair for the amount of meat.

The set lunch was decent — meat curry really stood out, and the fish curry had a nice coconut sauce, though slightly fishy for me. Fair price for what you get.

The boeren omelette was a solid pick—big portion for the price. Paired it with a glass of their house white, worked better than expected. Service friendly enough, though they took a bit to come back with the bill.

The discovery platter was perfect for sharing with my friends. Wings and spring rolls came out super hot and tasty. Portion size honestly surprised me for what we paid. We were all munching for a while and still had leftovers. Place got a bit busy later but that's fine. Would come back just for that platter again 😄

The pulled chicken sandwich for €9.50 was proper good. Best thing I had all week, honestly. Burger's a bit steep but fine if you're hungry. Place gets busy around lunch, so grab a seat early if you can. Not fancy, but the food does the talking.

Big portions for the price, honestly can't complain. Food was solid and the staff nice, just took a while to get our order in since it was packed. Good spot for a casual catch-up though 👍
