Evening visit, a few popular dishes were already gone. But what we ordered was fresh and satisfying. The ingredients felt really high-quality, especially the vegetables in my salad. Lively atmosphere, clearly a local favorite.

Right across from the ferry. The owners are so kind, it feels like visiting a friend's place. That warmth is everything.

The dal curry was so good, I kept going back for more. It had this really deep, layered flavor that I haven't tasted elsewhere. The chicken curry was nice too, with big pieces of meat.

A family-run spot with that old-school counter feel. Came for lunch and it was packed, but that just added to the authentic, lively vibe. The energy here is really something.

The udon noodles had a good chew, just right. Broth was flavorful but not heavy. The beef udon was the standout for me - that beef tallow really added a rich depth to the soup.

Love watching them make the udon fresh right in front of you. You can really taste the difference in the noodles.

The staff here are so kind and attentive. As a first-timer, I felt genuinely welcomed and comfortable from the moment I walked in. They really made the evening.

The fried oysters were the standout. Perfectly crispy outside, juicy inside. The seared bonito was also very good.

Found these amazing tacos in Okayama! The spicy chicken one was the highlight for me — super juicy, and the heat level was just right. Really hit the spot.

Came for lunch with a colleague. We got a private room, no extra charge, and no one rushed us out. The set menu was around ¥2,000 per person. Portions were decent, left feeling satisfied. Good for a relaxed work lunch.

Loved the focus on Okayama produce here. The teppanyaki felt so relaxed, not fussy at all. Just a nice, easy vibe. The local veggies were a highlight for sure.

Good spot for local seafood after exploring Kurashiki's old town. The sashimi was fresh and simple.

The lunch set is a solid deal. I got the beef tongue steak set. The meat was really tender, and you get a few different sauces to try with it. Salad, soup, and the yuzu sorbet were all included. Good portion for the price.

The staff were so kind and patient. They used a translation app to help me order, which made everything so much easier. The wagyu platter was lovely. A very comfortable and stress-free dinner.

Stopped by after work. The counter seats are nice, you can watch the kitchen. Had the grilled chicken skewers and a beer. Simple, hits the spot. A bit smoky inside, but that's the vibe. Good for a quick bite near the station.

The French food was pretty good. I had a set course, and each dish was nicely prepared. The dessert was a highlight. A decent spot in Fukuyama, though the pacing between courses felt a bit slow.

The owner works solo, so it gets a bit slow when they're busy. But the ramen broth is so rich and the noodles have a perfect chew. I didn't mind waiting at all for something made with that much care.
